What do most of you send out to get signed?
I mostly send cards to athletes or magazines (Sports Illustrated, Becketts, etc...)
I would love to try to send out some movie posters to actors/directors in the future.

Both my first 2 to go out are a fullsized movie poster of the movie Next Stop Wonderland staring Hope Davis and a mini poster of Succubus: Hell Bent staring a local actress Natalie Sperl I'll Be writing the letters and sending a money order with each one to cover return postage and to cover purchase of a new tube

I recently bought a Larry Bird autographed picture from a dealer in my area for 50 bucks and was wondering if this is a good price or not? It comes with a certicate of authenticity from southside sports memorabilia. Any ideas would help please!

According to the Sanders guide, an auto'd Bird pic goes for around $55, so yeah, I would say $50 was a good price.

Just received Sophia Lorens autograph on a couple of DVD inserts from Switzerland. Going by the date on the envelope it took from 12/09/09 until 01/25/10 to get back to me. But I am happy that they are legit and made it back.

I have been lucky enough to actually meet Summer Glau in person several times and she is a sweetheart. A friend of mine has the license with Warner Brothers to handle a lot of their artwork and he has made prints of Summer as River and of course the Terminator. I have the original art piece for her from the Terminator print he made.

Received an autographed Sports Illustrated and a nice letter from Brandon Day, former Carroll College linebacker and current assistant coach at CC. Brandon was on the December 24, 2007, issue of SI, which was the cover shot for the Pictures of the Year issue. A beautiful signature, and a great guy and coach.

So you are trying to get an autograph from our first Heisman Trophy winner. I have several already including an Alabama Team signed football that has been authenticated by PSA/DNA. But we have actually been having some of the Seniors up here in Huntsville Alabama signing recently including Mount Cody.

Neil I get my images off of the internet usually high quality images and a lot of times you can do a search of their name and add wallpaper to the search and get some pretty decent images. Then I download to my computer and after I find all of the images i want to work with I download to a CD and take it to my local Wal-Mart and they have a machine there you can either slide in your CD or a memory stick or just about any memory device and then start telling the machine what you want . It usually goes to a screen that show all of the pictures and you have to click on each one and say what sixze picture you want and it will put the picture in that size and then you can move the image around and center it or increase and decrease the image and then click save image and you have to do each one. Then if you want same day service it's like $2.50 a 8 X 10 image and less for smaller or if you can wait 3-4 days it is about $1.96 an image.

Hope this helps. I like this because I know exactly what my image will look like when I get it back.

if youre downloading to a disc do they have to be a certain size image

No because when you use the machine at the store you have to go in and rework each one anyway so the bigger the better because you can move it in and out and get the exact image you want.

Just make sure it isn't too long of an image because you are trying to get everything on an 8 X 10.
