I was wondering if any one has a good address for tommy lasorda? I have tried many different addresses with no response. Any help would be appreciated!
Hey Russ, I happen to have had a huge day, as well! I got back 6 successes today! I received a 1991 Collegiate Collections University of South Carolina trading card signed by legendary soccer coach Mark Berson, the October 15, 2007, issue of Sports Illustrated signed by Colorado Rockies pitcher Jeff Francis, an 8 1/2" x 11" picture I cut out of a Sports Illustrated signed by San Diego Padres first basemen Adrian Gonzalez, the August 3, 2009, issue of Sports Illustrated signed by Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle, an 8 1/2" x 4 1/8" leaflet signed by Olympic gold medalist skier Lindsey Vonn (I don't think she will sign anymore Sports Illustrated issues,) and a 3" x 5" index card (plus her own personal 8" x 10" picture she sent along with it!) signed by Oscar award-winning actress Olympia Dukakis. What a day full of surprises!!!
Does anyone have a valid address on Van Williams who played the Green Hornet back in the 60's? I"ve heard that he was/is a neighbor of Adam West, but the addess I had came back undelivered. Thank you.
I got autographs from Jessica Capshaw and Jennifer Gareis. Also got an autographed book of Jeniffer love hewitt from barnes and nobles from new ork bought through the mail!
got an envelope in the mail today, sent off for jensen ackles and jerred padelecki from supernatural . in the envelope was only one photo signed to my son who also ask for one in the letter. The envelope was also half open so i figured that some one down the line some stole one of the photos out of the envelope. pretty bad you can't even trust the post office. oh well i will try again for myself . later people
I am a really big fan of Robert Duvall and would love to have him sign something...anyone know of a good address to send him a picture ? And what his likes/dislikes are in reguards to signing.?
i am starting to get a little worried because I have about 200 envelopes out right now and I had been getting a regular dose of mail fo a while and maybe a 4-5 days with nothing but it's been going on 3 weeks and nothing. I am hoping that all changes soon or I am going to start thinking someone is taking my mail.
Well I mailed a boxing glove off to Las Vegas to get Joe Frazier to sign it and I had this other glove just lying around so I got the bright idea why don't I mail it to Sugar Ray Leonard with a small donation check and see if he would sign it and I just received an email stating that they were sorry for the delay but the glove was finally mailed 2 days ago and I should have it tomorrow. I will post pictures as soon as it gets here. YAY!
I just recently thought about even getting boxing autographs. I now have Joe Frazier, George Foreman and now Sugar Ray Leonard.
Chris, I just had successes with Gene Fullmer, Vito Autofermo, and Carmen Basilio all of which were given in past issues of Autograph,

Fullmer is ill so he won't be able to respond, but the family sent me a note and a signed postcard they had of his, the family was really nice. And Carmen was great, sent me a letter and answered my questions and even gave his number and told me to call him if I had more questions. These guys are legends in the sport and down to earth guys.
Nice mail day today. Received a 3x5 index card of 1980 Team USA Olympic Gold medal hockey team member Bill Baker signed in black ink pen, a signed picture of basketball Hall of Famer Nate "Tiny" Archibald that I cut out of a Sports Illustrated Magazine, and a 3x5 index card of "Desperate Housewives" star Dana Delany. My wife and mother-in-law, both of whom don't give one iota about autograph collecting but are loyal "Desperate Housewives" fans, are ecstatic about Ms. Delany writing me back!
the address from Autograph Magazine's April 2010 issue,
i received Duke Basketball's head Coach, Coach K in the mail yesterday, i recently added it to my autograph magazine live profile =)
I finally received some envelopes in the mail. YAY!
The only thing I had received for 3 weeks were two RTS's.
Okay what I received in the mail yesterday is listed below.
James Earl Jones - He is out of the country right now.
Phylicia Rashad - Also out of the country now.
Steve martin
Terry Bradshaw
Tina Turner - This one took about 5-6 months.
I will post pictures as soon as I have some time to scan them in.
Chris, I would be willing to bet the Bradshaw is a ghost signature, especially if it went to LA. His relatives have been known to sign his items, and even though he has an address in LA. He lives on a ranch in OK.
Received my 1989 University of Georgia Collegiate Collections card signed by Kent Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence is a former wide receiver and kick returner for the 1969 Philadelphia Eagles squad, and he also appeared in 1 game for the Atlanta Falcons in 1970. He was a 3-time letterman at UGA in football, a 1967 Indoor Track and Field All-American in the 60-yard dash, and was the Most Outstanding Player in the 1966 Cotton Bowl when he rushed for 149 yards on only 16 carries, one of which went for 74 yards and a touchdown. If you decide to write him, just remember that he is a State Court Judge here in Georgia, so be respectful!
I got autographs in the mail today from henry kissinger, dan castellaneta, and autographed book from mickey dolenz of the monkees from his ebay site. Also got a return to sender from tommy lasorda.
Actually they are good, very good....My stepson is in Walter Reed hospital and a couple of weeks ago Bradshaw's whole TV crew was visiting the hospital Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson, etc.....and he signed a couple of things and his signature was definitely a little different compared to the mail sigs that I had turned down from both JSA & PSA. Here is information off of Sportscollectors.net from people who have sent items to the Shreveport address.
It has long been known that autograph requests sent to the Shreveport, LA address are not actually signed by Terry Bradshaw. They are ghost signed.

Bradshaw has generally been using a ghostsigner to sign his mail requests for him for many years. Tell tale signs of the ghostsigner are many- including a definite space between Terry and Bradshaw, and an oversize S construction in Bradshaw which can resemble an open topped figure 8.

I hope you have a good one but he is well known for having ghost signers. Most ot the majors dont sign TTM when they get $100+ at an autograph show
Hey everyone how is everybody i dont have good luck but i was wondering if anybody knows the chances of any nascar autographs. You guys no more about this than me.
Hey Gary. what drivers are you looking to get. if you looking to get tony, dale jr, or jeff no such luck mailing to these guys. best bet would be to check the drivers web site. I know Kurt and Kyle do mail, Kevin harvick does also. Best bet is go to this web site. the web site is driver appearances.com. pick a driver and to the left once the driver comes up you will see off to the left autograph requests. click on that and see who is doing what. even though some drivers like jeff, dale and tony are on their once you click on them you will get a message that says sorry but they don't sign and what. Jamie McMurray is the same. One thing though is that this list is abit old and drivers come and go from this sport so make sure your mailing to a current driver. also check the web sites of drivers. with rousch they take autograph requests but it will take time so the wait game is what is the big thing. I hope this help you out.
Robert, how long did the hector Guerro sigs take? I sent out a few more request this week and hector was one. I sent emails out, and received one back from the people stan lee works for and they said unfortunatly that stan is too busy and to far behind on their work they he is not allowed to sign, Bummer.
Darrel, ... What address did you mail to Stan Lee at? About a month and a have ago I sent a request to Stan Lee at his POW Entertainment company address as that was one he told me that was the quickest way to reach him when I met him for the second time while working in the movie Fantastic 4 Films.
Jason ,... I used the pow entertainment as well. It wasnt even Stan that said He could not sign.it was some one at pow. I am sure that if Stan would have got my email, he would have signed because he is a people kind of guy.if anyone has a different email or mail address for stan lee, please let me know. i have a first edition signed green lantern the rebirth in plastic mint. stans would have been a nice addition.
Received my 1990 Louisiana State University Collegiate Collections card signed by former LSU great, Steve Ensminger. Steve played quarterback for LSU from 1976-1979. He holds the record for the longest touchdown pass in LSU history; 82 yards to Carlos Carson in 1978. He is also one of only 7 quarterbacks in LSU history to throw 4 touchdown passes in a game.
On Saturday, I received my 1974 Topps baseball card and a nice little note on my envelope in the mail signed by former Yankees, Indians, and Rangers pitcher, Fritz Peterson. Fritz was a New York Yankees pitching legend, and was an All-Star in 1970. He had the lowest ERA ever at the old Yankee Stadium, and from 1968 through 1972, led the American League every year in fewest walks per 9 innings. And, he was quite a character off the field, too! Was good to see and hear from him that he is doing well.
I just received a nice surprise in the mail last week.
The president of the charity group I work with (Hero Initiative) had Stan Lee mail me personal letter last week thanking me for my help with raising money for the charity. Stan works with us very closely and he donates signatures and his time at conventions.
When I got to meet Stan at his offices at POW Entertainment he asked me what I was doing in California and I told him the main reason was to meet him and it was true. He looked at me and then Jim and said "You don't have very high standards do you?" and I just about fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard.
