Today I received several photos signed by Jason Patric TTM. He's currently starring in a show on Broadway. Interesting fact about Jason that I recently learned: his grandfather was the great Jackie Gleason! How cool is that?

I got autographs ttm from tara reid and former wwe manager armando estrada! In the tara reid i also got a form that i can get an 8 x10 for 25 bucks and the money goes toward the red cross which is a cool deal!

I got a nice little haul today. I got 2 Listia wins today. First was a signed Senior League baseball card of Dyar Miller and a signed football card of James Jones. Swagbucks messed up my order. I was supposed to get a signed album flat of Rocco DeLucca, but they sent me a signed show poster that I already have! I e-mailed them about it so I hope that this issue gets resolved quickly. On the ttm front, I received signed cards from Derek Plante and Randy Lewis!

I returned home from a day trip with my family to find a couple of sweet ttm successes in my mailbox! First, I received a nice signed USA Basketball card of Hall of Famer Joe Dumars! I wrote to him in care of the Detroit Pistons. This next one is definately the cooler of the 2. The February 25th issue of Sports Collectors Digest featured a cover story on Bill Purdy. Bill was the bullpen catcher and batboy for the St. Louis Browns from 1952-53. It was agreat article and at the end listed an address for those that cared to write to him. I was one of those people! Today, I received my SCD signed to me and my son from Mr. Bill Purdy! I also sent a couple of generic cards that he kindly signed for us! Bill Purdy 6256 Kinsey Place St. Louis, MO 63109

I got one ttm and three Listia auctions in the mail today! The ttm was from former Cleveland Browns quarterback, Frank Ryan. From Listia, I recieved 2 signed minor league cards of Marc Barcelo and James Bonnici, a signed MMA card of Kenji Osawa, and a signed Milwaukee Admirals card of Simon Gamache!

I am happy to see thateveryone is having such good luck . i have had a dry spell for about 2 weeks now. i am beginning to think the mail lady forgot about me again. i tried for an autograph from ricky flair. i sent him an email and they sent me a response saying that i have to pay for it, but the good news is thatthey would waive the personalizing fee, since iwas such a huge fan. i find it apawlling that these people that had made millions off people and they cant find it in good faith to sign a few autgraphs to show their appreciation. It is all these so called collectors thatsell all their successes or get multipals so they can make money , that are ruiningit for the true collectors. oh well, i will get off my soap box and say later to all my freinds out there and say wish me luck. hopfully i can come in a say that theydrought has ended. later peeps.

I totally agree with you Darrel. We pay for tickets to see people play sports or perform in movies. We buy thier dvds, cds, toys, etc. and they still want us to shell out money for an autograph. Like you said, these people have made millions and still want to nickle and dime thier fans for a signature! The people that profit from it have ruined it because of the multiples and exorbanat prices that they charge for a signature and let us not forget the "fans" that just write to a celeb just because they saw on a site where the celeb in question signed for somebody! Wrestling fans are the worst as everytime a wrestling success gets posted on a site, everyone is automatically a wrestling fan and bombard the wrestler with so many requests that they just stop signing! This hobby is getting tougher every year!

i agree totally, i canstand it. it seems that more of my request are meeting with the same response, pay for it and i would be glad to sign it. but with my health the way it is and my budget i cannot afford to keep shelling out for celebs like them. if it was not for listia i would be going insane right now.

I got two really nice ttms today and a poopy rts! First, I recieved a signed card from Clete Thomas of the Toledo Mudhens. I wrote to him in care of the team. I also recieved signed cards from Todd Bodine. I wrote to him using the Team Onion fan club. The RTS was from Jason Alexander. I used the Yumkus Mngt. address that I had a previous success with. He must have new representation! I also received a Swagbucks redemption. Unfortunately, its not what I ordered. I ordered a signed Rocco DeLucca album flat and they sent me his concert poster. This is the same thing that happened the last time! They let me keep the second poster and refunded my credits. Now I have three! WTH am I supposed to do with 3? I think that if they end up refunding my credits, I won't try and get another flat. Its not worth all of the hassel!

Today was a pretty godd mail day. I received a signed card from, Hall of Famer, Harry Carson! I wrote to him c/o the Pro Football Hall of Fame! I also got a huge Listia win consisting of 11 signed Nascar hero cards! The auction included signatures of: Robby Gordon, Kenny Wallace, Jimmy Spencer, Jeff Green, Greg Biffle, Kyle Petty, Joe Nemeckek, Elliot Sadler, Jeff Burton, and Mark Martin(my alltime favorite)! The seller even included a second signed Martin photo after finding out that he was my fave! Awesome!

I really haven't mailed much out since I wasn't getting a lot back TTM. But I did receive an envelope recently with a pre-print from Mel Brooks. I just have not had much time and TTM and buying autographs is almost depressing anymore. I try and get most anything I can directly from the celebrity or people I know that have contracts with celebrities. I doudt if I have even mailed an envelope in 4 months.

I received one ttm today of the great Ted Lindsay! He signed 2 of 2 and included a signed pamplet! I also recieved a couple of Listia wins. A very nice Senior League baseball card signed by Garth Iorg and a Classic 4 Sport signed by Jason Bowen.

i know that feeling chris, i wish i was able to get out and about to different venues but with my health these days, unless the celebs are in my doctors office or hospital i am sol. the cost of mailing out request and sase is getting expensive, and with me not able to work and my wife paying the rent and bills i try to find good email addresses to send off too. i wish the autograph magazine would have a dedicated column for just good email addresses that we could use as an alternate to the mail.anyways good job on the successes everyone, im still looking for mine. have a great week end to all.

I got my listia win of autographs of mills watson who used to play perkins on sheriff lobo and frank bonner who played herb on wkrp in cincinatti.
