To kickoff Opening Weekend for the NFL season, The Professor scored through the mail yet another member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012 inductee Dermontti Dawson. Dermontti was the a guard for the Pittsburgh Steelers in his rookie season in 1988, and then took fellow Hall of Famer Mike Webster's spot at center in 1989, when Webster went to play with the Chiefs. He remained at center unitl his retirement in 2000. That means that the Steelers had a Hall of Famer playing center for 27 straight years!

Last month i received an autograph from, Ilich Ramirez Sanchez AKD Carlos the Jackal. I wrote to him back in January 2012 and received it last month. I was quite surprised as I have learned that he normally does not respond to autograph requests.

Nice score, Bob! George Kennedy was Father O'Malley in my favorite movie of all-time, "Delta Force" staring Chuck Norris and Lee Marvin. Great actor.

Yesterday's mail brought me the autograph of 1967 Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient, Harvey C. Barnum. Barney, as he's known by some, was in Vietnam on December 18, 1965. While doing a reconnaissance mission, his group encountered enenmy forces which killed the lead commander and the radio operator, Sgt. Barnum immediately took control on the group, strapped the radio on his back, and engineered a counter attack that enabled 2 helicopters to provide extra fighting support and rescue efforts. He is truly one a kind and an iconic American hero.

A paid request of nearly 4 months came back last night from Tony Kubek who also inscribed it very very nice which he charges extra for which I did not ask for...also a nice note he added...it came out fantastic on an original 1958 Topps card from one of my favorite sets of all time...need to get back on the TTM horse...I have been slacking for almost the entire summer...

Today, I recieved the autograph of Mr. Ralph H. Baer, inventor of the very first home video game console. Mr. Baer, known as "The Father of Video Games," invented the Brown Box and the Magnovox Odyssey in the late 1960's and early 1970's.

Today I recieved 2/2 from Eddie McClintock of 'Warehouse 13' and one from Mark Harmon of 'NCIS'

Very cool Frederick. I've met Eddie before and he is a very friendly and funny guy.

In after about 3 months Art Ditmar on an original 1958 Topps card...got to get back in the game...I miss TTM's...just so damn busy...great stuff Fredrik as always...so sweet !!!!

Just got back from Kentucky, and found in my mailbox the autograph of Mr. Don Bateman. Mr. Bateman is in the National Inventors Hall of Fame, and is the inventor of the Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) that is used in all modern aircraft. In the 1960s, there were several air disasters that were the result of the pilot flying directly into some type of terrain - either the side of a mountain, land, water, etc., during poor visibility. The GPWS helps the pilot determine where all these things are during poor visibility, and helps planes fly and land safely. Next time you fly, thank Mr. Bateman for all his life's work dedicated to helping make air travel safer.

Oh my word! Dude! Erin Gray, in my opinion, was one of the top 3 sexiest women on TV in the late 1970s, with Catherine Bach and Linda Carter following a VERY close 2nd and 3rd. Man, I did not miss a single episode of Buck Roger in the 25th Century. My very first celebrity crush. Please, I'm begging Darrel, I gotta have this address!!!

Yesterday's mail brought me the autographs of Pro Football Hall of Famer, Y.A. Tittle, and former Notre Dame great, Phil Carter. Y.A. Tittle was the greatest quarterback of his era (1948 - 1964). He threw for 33,072 yards and 242 touchdowns. On October 28, 1962, he threw 7 touchdown passes in one game, which still stands as the NFL's all-time single game record.

Phil Carter was a runningback for Notre Dame from 1979 - 1982. Among his greatest games was a 254 yard rushing performance against Michigan in 1980.

I got returns from Sean Young who played Rachael in Blade Runner, Clive Revill-the original emperor in 'TESB' and Chris Malcolm as Zev in 'TESB'...But Every pic, except Malcoms were to dark. Seans sig you can hardly make out and Revills got smudged cause he used a silver felt(He taped it though)..

okay i am on a roll. another legendary success story for me at the new address. and its a great one , OH MYYYY, got a signed card from allegiance, the new Broadway production of George Takai. i received email back from producers assistant three days ago saying that George was happy to sign for me. wow this mail is coming in strong, hope it stays this way. i have been dry for to long, and lucky for my mail man, it was a 5x7 card in a 8x10 envelope, he folded it in half and stuffed it in the box that way, guess ill have to train another carrier in the ways of collecting, he'll learn

Marc, when I wrote to Roger Clemens, I got back a preprint 4x6 of him.

Hmmmm....I guess it could, but the whole point of an autopen is to churn out signatures as quickly as possible and make them all the same. You might have gotten some real Clemens autos. Put them on a thread here and let some other folks give their opinions.
