Brian stepped up big time in the 1978 World Series, filling in for an injured Willie Randolph at second base and teamed with shortstop Bucky Dent to form quiet possibly the greatest middle infielding performance in World Series history. While Dent won the Series MVP that year, it was Brian who set the table, hitting .438 with a double, 4 runs scored, and 2 RBI. Autographs are only $5 each, and all the money goes to support the Atlanta Food Bank. Wanted to wait until I was able to get a good enough picture to post...got this nice little gem on Wednesday, former Florida State University linebacker, Shelton Thompson. Shelton played for FSU from 1986-1989, and was the teams leader in quarterback sacks with 8.5 in 1989.

Yesterday, I got a reply from a member of one of my all-time favorite tag teams: The Warlord! Not only did he sign all 4 of my pin-ups, but he also sent along a signed 8x10 of his own! Stoked!

Had a great Monday mailday! First, I received 6 signed trading cards from, author, Linda Wisdom. Secondly, I added a signed John Wockenfuss to my Toledo Mudhens collection. Kevin Harvick was gracious enough to sign my Tylenol cards. And former WWE superstar Akio Sato signed my wrestling pin-up!

Christmas came early for the 'ole Professor. First, I got a nice vintage piece - a signed 1963 Topps Del Shofner. Del was one of the greatest receivers of his era. He was voted to the NFL 1960s All-Decade Team, and was a 5-time All-Pro. He played from 1957-1967, and amassed 349 catches for 6,470 yards, and 51 touchdowns. He was also MVP of the Sugar Bowl in 1957 when he guided Baylor to a 13-7 win over Tennessee.

And lastly, one that I have wanted for years. As a good 'ole boy from south Georgia, I was born and raised in a small town called Fitzgerald, which is about an hour away from Plains, where our 39th President was born and raised. We always studied him in school since he is not only part of Georgia history, but also US and World history. Though I have met him a couple of times and shared a few pleasantries, I have never been able to secure his autograph. Love him or hate him, Jimmy Carter has always followed his convictions and stayed true to what he thought was right and did his best. And to have something very personal from him to me really made my day today.

Today, I got a ttm response from Kitty Callhoun Grissom. Unfortunately, I don't collect cards with signatures on the back. So I'll list this one on Listia in hopes that I can get a few credits for it.

This isn't TTM, but I wanted to show it off anyway.  As many of you know, 90% of my collection are of Tommy Tresh items.  Mr. Tresh has been my favorite ballplayer of all time since 1962.  And I just received the below items; and they arrived on my birthday.

Secindly, I wrote to Bruno Sammartino and sent him this bio card from the back of my old LJN wrestling figure.  Not only did it come back unsigned, but also creased severly. I don't know if I should blame him or the USPS. Terrible mail day!

I got an autograph ttm from roy wayne farris aka the honky tonk man. He had some awsome battles with the macho man, jake roberts, and brutus the barber to name a few. I met him in person a few times and hopefully he will be inducted into the wwe hall of fame someday! Happy new year to everyone on here!

I got my 1st ttm on saturday from Lydia Cornell I sent her 1 8x10 and she sent 2 extras 

Having problems uploading pics on here tonaight for some reason. Oh well, success today came from Dave Shula and Richard Petty. Petty only signed 1 of the 2 trading cards that I sent and didn't send back the other one, which is strange, because I have gotten him to sign 2 cards before. Maybe he's changed his signing habits.

FINALLY!!! I am on the boards for 2013. Got the autograph of Brad Arnsberg in the mail today. Brad had a very nice 6 year career in major league baseball as a pitcher. He played for the Yankees, Rangers, and Indians. He saved Nolan Ryan's 300th win, and was the pitching coach for the Florida Marlins when they won the World Series in 2003.

Got a ttm today from Steve Keirn. He signed my Doink the Clown card and the bio card from my Hasbro Skinner action figure!

I received these ttm today in response to my note to Randolph Mantooth I sent to him in November. I now need to send him the two 8x10 "Emergency!" cast photos I have. I hope he can also get Kevin Tighe to signe them, too.

Recently wrote to Eric Clapton and today had my photo returned with a slip of paper with the words typed on it "Mr Clapton is not signing anymore autographs"

Kevin, too bad about Eric Clapton not signing. I did not think he would. It would seem celebs could scribble a few hundred cards a year for fans. I know they don't owe me/us anything but it would be nice.
