I sent out my two 8x10 "Emergency!" cast photos to Randy Mantooth yesterday. Will have to see how long it takes to get them back and whether or not he's also able to get Kevin Tighe (Roy DeSoto) to also sign them.

Friday's mailday was a good one even though I did get one R.T.S. from Ricky Steamboat.

First, "Cowboy" Bob Orton signed 2 of 2.

TNA's Rob Terry signed 2 of 2 as well.

Legendary golfer, Raymond Floyd signed 4 of 4.

And , owner/operator, Ron Brubaker signed his 18 Wheeler card and sent an extra!

Got 2 today: Bill Almon, former utility player for the Padres, Expos, Mets, White Sox, A's, Pirates, and Phillies, and Ruben Amaro, former outfielder for the Phillies, Indians, and Angels, who is now the GM for the Phillies. Billwas a First Round Draft pick by the Padres in 1974, and went on the a long 17-year career in major league baseball. Ruben was a key contributor on that great Cleveland Indians team that won the 1995 American League pennant, and as the assistant GM, helped put together the Phillies team that won the 2008 World Series.

Good stuff everyone! Looks like we all have had a good mail week. 'Ole Professor here wound up the week with the autograph of former Brewers pitcher, Don August. Don had a nice 4 year career with the Brewers from 1988-1991 after helping Team USA to a silver medal in the 1984 Olympics. He was also the winning pitcher in the first ever game at the SkyDome (now known as the Rogers Centre.) He's now an 8th grade history teacher at North Middle School in Menomonee Falls, WI. How cool would that be to have a silver medalist baseball great as your teacher?

Saturday started off witha RTS from Brutus Beekcake, but it got a lot better!

First, I received David West on an 8x10.

Secondly, I received 3 of 3 from Doug Williams.

Finally, I got 4 of 4 from Christy Hemme!

I got an autograph ttm from bernie koppel and un signed success from tony stewart!

I ended up with 2 return to senders to start my mailweek from Julie Kavner and Brett Bodine.

Luckily, that wasn't all I got!

I received 3 of 3 from Harley Race. The 2 cards that are signed on the back will be put on Listia as I don't collect back-side autos.

Next Cale Yarborough signed 3 of 3.

I got Brad Garrett to sign my Hulk Hogan pic. He provided the voice of the Hulkster in the old Hulk Hogan's Rock-n- Wrestling cartoon!

Finally, Lodi was kind enough to sign my wrestling pin-up!

Russ, Chirsty Hemme just does something to me every Thursday night. The world just stops for a few brief seconds when they pan that camera in and give her a closeup when she's doing ring announcments.

Had the biggest mail day I have ever had yesterday. Never have I gotten 4 in one day. Got the autographs of former Cleveland Indian Beau Allred, former Brewers, Braves, and Orioles pitcher Jay Aldrich, former Braves minor league prospect Patrick Dando, and 1944 Medal of Honor recipient Walter Ehlers.

Great stuff Professor! I just sent out a mess of baseball requests, myself! As far as Hemme goes. She's alright. I'm a Velvet Sky man myself!

Anyhoo. Today I got 4 of 4 from Kendall Gill. This was gone for a while. I almost forgot that I sent it!

Now my favorite.  I sent Bobby Doerr a ROMLB and asked him to inscribe it with HOF 86 & 9x All Star.  I figured he would only do HOF 86 - but he DID do 9x All Star!  How awesome.

No mail for me today, but I do want to chim in on you guys' recent successes. Jeff, I wrote Clemens last year and got this same card back. I looked and looked and looked at mine, examined it under different lighting, magnifying glass, etc. Mine was a pre-print. Now another guy on here wrote Clemens, got this same exact card back, but is absolutely certain in his opinion that it is real. This is only my 2 cents, so I encourage you to have someone take a look at it. JSA will look at it for $5. They won't give you a serial numbered certificate at that price, but will give a simple "yes" or "no" answer and put their Stamp of Approval on the front/back/where ever you prefer.

Russ, my man!!! Dan Hampton signed that same 1989 Topps card for me last year. He's great through the mail. One of the best defensive players of all-time, in my book.

And Bob, what do you think about the work Al Snow is putting in at TNA? You like all the new talent he's bringing in? That show is getting better and better each week, and that brand of wrestling is simply amazing. Gotta get my TNA requests out sometime in the next few months.

Here's hoping for a better tomorrow mail wise. If I don't get any TTMs, I'd at least like to get my new insurance card from work!

No insurance card again, but I did get this nice Antonio Alfonseca in the mail today. Antonio was a big part of the Marlins 1997 World Series championship in 1997, and led the National League in saves in 2000.

TTMS today came from: Former Cubs infielder, Paul Noce. Former Seahawks quarterback, Dan McGwire. Former Dolphins LB, Nick Buoniconti signed for me and my son, Jakob. Unfortunately he spelled Jakob's name wrong. Haku signed 4 of 4. He seems to be making a habit out of signing cards in the darkest spot possible!

Just received these back today ttm from Randolph Mantooth. The reunion photo I'd purchased via eBay with Randy's signature on it. He added "Squad 51, 10-4!" to it. I had sent these to Robert Fuller back in November which he signed and promptly returned. I had hoped that Randy would have had Kevin Tighe sign these, but obviously that didn't happen. I've no contact info for Kevin.  :(

Mark Whiten signed 1 of 2 and didn't return the other card. Francois Chau signed 1 of 1. Mark Thurmond signed 1 of 7. I told him if he signed a couple for me and my son, he could keep what he wanted. He signed one and sent back the rest unsigned! Richard Petty signed my Beckett. Former TXWE superstar Freekshow signed 7 of 7 and included one of his own!

Got 2 in the mail today; former A's pitcher Willie Adams, and former Gold Glove cather Brad Ausmus. Willie was a 1992 Olympian for Team USA and pitched for the A's for parts of 1996 amd 1997. Brad was one of the greatest defensive catchers of his era, winning 3 Gold Glove awards in 2001, 2002, and 2006, while with the Astros.

Pretty decent mailday today. I got a handful of Listia wins and a couple of ttms.
