Decent mailday today. I got 1 of 1 from James Britt, 1 of 3 from Mark Thurmond.4 of 4 from Jeff Bostic, 2 of 2 from Capt. and Tennille,4 of 6 from Bill Mueller and Nancy Cartwright returned my cards unsigned and sent a signed bookmark.

Don't you guys just love it when you get more than what you ask for? I sent a letter to Mr. Martin Cooper, inventor of the cell phone and member of the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Not knowing what to send these great men and women of ingenuity, I have been sending blank index cards, as they are just a nice, simple thing to use that allows for an autograph to show up nicely. Well Mr. Cooper went one step further, and replaced the index card with this nice 5x7 of himself with his wonderful invention! I am so proud to add this to my collection.

And to top the day off, I also got this sweet 1982 Topps Tommy Boggs autograph. Tommy was a pitcher for the Rangers and Braves from 1976-1985. He was the pitcher on the mound when Bobby Cox earned his first ever ejection from a ball game in 1978, and also simply tortured the 1980 Dodgers all season long, costing them the National League Western Division title.

Thought I would venture out in to the world of NASCAR this year. I love watching all the rivalries and storylines from the drivers and teams in this sport, and the fact that it is so generational. Got this nice Michael Waltrip in today. Michael was a 2-time Daytona 500 champion in 2001 and 2003, and is a fantastic car owner, announcer, and author. What a way to kick off my NASCAR empire!

Steve, I wrote to John Glenn in the summer of 2011, and received the item back signed a few months later. He will only sign 1 item. As Jeff stated, write him to the Ohio State Univ addy.

I got autos ttm today from peter docter, austin collie, and my favorite from murray langston aka the unknown comic.

I finished up the mail week with some pretty neat cards.

First, I got 1 of 1 from Jerry Stovall.

Second, Barry Wilson signed both of my LSU cards.

Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised that Roberto Hernandez signed all 6 of my baseball cards!

To start the week off i got autos ttm from micky ward,  bob schieffer, chevy chase, and jeremy renner. The mail person has been very nice to  me the last few days!

Strated out the week with a RTS from, former WWE superstar, Slick.
I did end up with a couple of successes from "Cowboy" Bob Orton and Joe Walton.

I got an autographed picture from helen reddy ttm mail today and our mail person put it on our porch instead of the mailbox which was a plus!

I've placed my order to Dave Elkouby (Star World), one of the co-owners of the Hollywood Show, for autographed photos of Ron Ely (Tarzan;1966-68) and Haywood Nelson (What's Happenin') who are appearing at the show this weekend. I'm still awaiting word and return of my Barbara Mandrell signed autobiography which I mailed out to her on March 14, 2013.
