  • Robert Babb

  • Russ Robinson

I started the month of June on a good note.
I received 5 of 5 from David Stremme, 4 of 4 from Joe Nemechek, 5 of 5 from Jason Mewes and 2 of 2 from The Toy Hunter, Jordan Hembrough.

  • Jeff Bessinger

Today brought me 3/3 from Dan Majerle & 3/3 from Teemu Selane and he included one of his own for me - I thought that was pretty awesome.

  • Robert Babb

    nice everybody!

  • Jeffery Kite

I, too, was able to join in on the fun today. The 'Ole Professor got a hit from Robert Dennard, inventor of dynamic-random access memory in the area of electronics. Robert was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame for this creation. Ever wondered how the radio in your car or your television at home can tune in and save your favorite channels, or how a computer is able to store data and not loose it if the power is cut off? It's all because of this guy and the decades of work he has put in to the development of DRAM. He even included a circuit schematic of his invention along with his autograph. A nice classy touch to put with his autograph, I thought.

  • Robert Babb

Awsome jeffrey! i got autographs ttm from actors billy crystal and ed o neil today! Billy crystal and bette midler are funny in parental guidance inmy opinion!

  • Chad B

I never got a return from Ed O'Neil when I mailed to him. Congrats on your success. I also like the Dennard autograph.

  • Russ Robinson

Today's mail brought a RTS from Bruce Jenner and 2 of 2 from Tim Allen.

  • Robert Babb

thanks chad! Sorry to hear about your rts from bruce jennner russ but awsome success on tim allen! What address did you use for jenner? i got a success from him about a week ago!

  • Russ Robinson

Thanks Bob. The address that I had for Jenner was the Carlsbad CA addy. The yellow sticker on the front said: Moved didn't eave forwarding address.

  • Jeffery Kite

Thanks to everyone for the kind words! Today's autograph story is one of endurance. 882 days ago, I mailed off a letter to former Redskins and Packers tight end, Clint Didier. I had totally forgotten all about it until I opened an envelope today and found this gem. Never give up, folks! This 2-time Super Bowl champion signed my 2004 Topps Fan Favorites card in beautiful black Sharpie.

  • Russ Robinson

I got a 50/50 mail day. One good success and another that was kind of a disappointment.
First, I got 1 of 1 from Greg Skrepenak. That was the good one. Next, the disappointment. I wrote to one of our hometown DJs for an autograph and made up these sweet cards for him to sign. Unfortunately, he signed them on the back. I may re-send and have him sign them properly    on the front.

  • Adam Richard Utz

Yesterday I got my May Pristine Auction  wins, Anna Paquin as Rogue , Ashley Force  both JSA's and today I got my Dave Blaney back in only 1 month

  • Russ Robinson

    3 TTMs today.

First, my daughter, Rebekkah got another Monster High success from Adu Paden. He is the voice of Ghoulia Yelps. Not only did he signed her 3 cards, but he also signed a sketch and a note! Classy!
I also got Corie Blount to sign 2 cards and he added an extra!

Jason Marsden signed 4 of 5. He sent back my Nova card unsigned with a note that said: "Voiced the SuperHero Squad version" I knew that, but there are no SHS cards and he did sign the Nermal cards even though he voiced the computer animated version!

  • Jeffery Kite

Adam, you are killing it with the Pristine Auctions! Might have to check some of that out for myself sometime.

Today's mail brought me one of my childhood favorite baseball players in Dale Murphy. I have been fortunate enough to have met the man a couple of times, but seeing how he is starting to sign TTM now when he use to not do so very much, I had to try and get a couple in. Got back my 1985 Donruss Action All-Stars card, and my 1985 Topps card, from the 1982 and 1983 National League MVP. Super excited about these!

  • Adam Richard Utz

  • Russ Robinson

Awesome start to the mailweek! First, I received 6 of 6 from Andy Kubert. Next, I got 2 of 2 from Wally Wingert and Katie Galaska. Katie also sent a nice note card thanking me for writing! "The Count" Danny Coker signed my post card and Jesse "The Body" Ventura signed 2 pics, 2 cards, and a bookplate for me.

  • Jeffery Kite

Nice stuff guys! Hope I can get in on some of this goodness this week. Jeff, Ricky Watters will be a Hall of Famer one day, no doubt. 10,643 yards rushing, 91 total touchdowns, and a record 3 touchdowns in Super Bowl XXIX should do the trick.

  • Jeff Bessinger

Thanks Jeff.  He was a good back.  I was super excited to get back from him so I could add him to my ND collection.

  • Russ Robinson

After nothing on Tuesday or Wednesday, I had a pretty mediocre mailday for Thursday.
First, Phil Coke sent my card back unsigned with a form letter requesting a $10 donation to the Tigers charity. No thanks. Coke isn't worth it.

Second, Todd Burns didn't return my cards, but sent this signed 89 Topps.  I guess that its better than nothing, but I liked my cards better.

  • Jeffery Kite

Friday's mail brought an early Father's Day gift for the 'Ole Professor, an autograph from the 1948 Major League Baseball Rookie of the Year, Al Dark. Al had quite a career in baseball: the 1948 Rookie of the Year award, a World Series championship as a player in 1954 with the Giants, and a 1974 World Series championship as the manager for the Oakland Atheltics.

  • Julie Snyder

I had sent original Mouseketeer Sharon Baird a new t-shirt with a 1956 style "Mouseketeers" logo on it about a week or so ago. I received an appreciative thank you note from her in today's mail.

  • Lee Parmerter

Recieved this autograph back from Natalie Trundy  (Jacobs) back after 3 months. It is a picture of her being made-up as a mutant human in Beneath the Planet of the Apes.

  • Robert Babb

I got an excellent autograph ttm from ricky jordan and another autograph ttm from someone else i am not sure about!

  • Russ Robinson

I broke my 2 day ttm drought today with a couple of nice ones.

First, Eric McClure signed my 2 hero cards and included one of his own.

Next, Matt Hardy signed my WWE poster. Now all I need to do is get Jeff on it to complete it!

  • Jeff Bessinger

The USPS has been great to me these last two weeks.  I am working on a project to collect the members of the '68 Detroit Tigers team and received some cards back already.  Dave Campbell, Denny Ribant, Dick Tracewski, Don Wert, Fred Lasher, Hal Naragon (included Thank You note), John Hiller, Jon Warden (included 1 of his own), Roy Face included 1 of his own), and Wayne Comer.

  • Jeff Bessinger

. . . continuation of my previous post.

Also received Bobby Shantz, Dick Stigman, Paul O'Neill, Roger Craig, Steve Largent, and Vern Law.

  • Jeff Bessinger

I also have a question for you sports card's collector's.  A few of my recent returns have smudges and/or dotting on the ink - like it is not adhered to the card very well.  Is there a way to avoid this?

  • Russ Robinson

Hey Jeff. If you rub the glossier cards with a white eraser or even on your blue jeans, it will "rough up" the glossy coating enough to keep the ink from bubbling up on you.
