Why do you want to join Autograph Live?
A love of history and classic Hollywood made the decision to join my family's auction business 14 years ago a natural choice. With daily hands-on education since 2003, I've garnered invaluable insight on the collectibles industry and appraisal process from my father, respected autograph expert, Bob Eaton.

As the Specialty Director at RR Auction, my responsibilities entail overseeing the planning and production of twelve specialty sales a year from beginning to end, including: establishing the vision and marketing strategy, acquiring the items, appraising the material, and editing the catalog.

Appointed Editor in Chief of the UACC’s 50-year publication, The Pen and Quill in 2012, I've published more than a dozen articles over the course of my career, chronicling the autographs of, among others: Vincent Van Gogh, Audrey Hepburn, Truman Capote, Rita Hayworth, and F. Scott Fitzgerald.

My very first signature study on Judy Garland was published in Autograph Collector Magazine in 2008, soon followed by three additional ACM cover articles on Humphrey Bogart, Steve McQueen, and Elizabeth Taylor. The highlight of my career was crafting a 50-page catalog on the Mario Puzo Archive: Featuring the Godfather Trilogy, which sold at auction in February 2016 for over $600,000.

I have that copy-very well written by the way. I really enjoyed it! Although, over the years I have managed to spill something or another on it, and really wouldn't mind a pdf of the article. Only, if you have the time. Thank you for your consideration! Bruce

You seem to be into vintage Hollywood, Tricia... So I'll mention:

This is Gary, founder of the popular authentication resource,www.TheCEAD.com.  Several months ago, we launched a large online autograph shop atwww.ClassicEntertainmentAutographs.com, where you'll find excellent material, all painstakingly authenticated.  Have a look-- we've just added 100 or so names this week alone, as we grow, grow, grow!  We hope it will become one of the most trusted, comprehensive sites for autographed material in the business, backed with the same solid research that has so characterized the CEAD!

    Best,

    Gary
