Warning, novice at work here, lol!! Based on what I have seen on this forum, I think it looks too clean to be legit Morrison. But by all means, wait for the experts, because Im just playing in the mud here. I hope for your sake I am wrong.

It does look odd, but can you post a nice clear image of the Jim and Ray signatures?

Impressive if Legit but as Ballroom stated, closer scans are needed

The Morrison is not authentic from what I can see.

IS NOT MINE BUT THE LINK WHERE I SAVED IT FROM ---->

WHAT IS SAID ON THE LINK ---->

An extremely rare original circa 1960s 10x8in Elektra Records promo photograph clearly signed in ballpoints by Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek. An original Riders On The Storm bookplate clearly signed in ballpoint by John Densmore. A white index card clearly signed in ballpoint by Robby Krieger.

All four autographs double mounted acid free for fine display with photographs.

An outstanding item and a certain investment as 2011 will be the 40th anniversary of Jim Morrisons death. His signature especially on a photograph is one of the rarest and most desirable in pop music.

Certification:

The Elektra records promo photograph came from the family estate of a 1960s freelance writer for The New Musical Express. The actual origin of the autographs are unknown, but it is likely that they were obtained in London in September 1968 during the The Doors short European Tour. The group held a press conference at The ICA Gallery and later played two days at The London Roundhouse which the journalist covered. The photograph has some browning and a heat melt bubble caused by fire damage (circa 1970s) but the signatures are unaffected and it is in generally good condition. Memorabilia UK purchased this photograph in September 2010 from J Dorrell who was given the photograph (fire damaged) in lieu of a bad debt whilst working at the writers house in 1984 ; the provenance was as he recalled being told at the time. The John Densmore signature is a signed promotional bookplate from his autobiography. Robby Krieger card was obtained in person at London Capital Gold Radio Station on 22.3.2007. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK COA.
