Started this discussion. Last reply by BC Mar 21. 10 Replies

Hi all, I just bought this cast-signed script off of eBay. The seller attached photos of what look to be the item with the exact signatures. They looked convincing enough to me to buy it. The seller…Continue

How accurate is ACOA Pre-Certification?

Hi all, just wondering everyone's thoughts on how accurate ACOA Pre-Certification is. Given this is a photo-only method of certification, how accurate would this be compared to ACOA full authentication or authentication from PSA, Beckett or JSA? Would you be comfortable using this as proof of authenticity without even sending the item in?See More

David replied to David's discussion Vikings Blood Legacy & Vikings Sword of Kings: Is PSA Quick Opinion virtually worthless for more experienced collectors?
"Thread update - both items passed ACOA pre-certification. Would you consider this to mean the autographs on both comic books are very likely to be authentic? As mentioned previously, I also believed them to be authentic from my own observation.…"

David replied to David's discussion Six Cast-Signed Script: Are these photos of the signing sufficient proof of authenticity?
"Yes, I considered the possibility of photoshop or the forging of the autographs in the same manner that they are in the photos. I suppose both are technically possible, but very unlikely from what I can see. The half draw autograph in the photo…"
