What kind of member are you? (Check as many as apply.): Fan

What would you like to tell us about yourself, your collecting, or business.: Most of my autographs are from film and TV actors, the only exception being Nolan Ryan from the Texas Rangers (he sent me a signed 8x10 in the mail). I have about 50 signed photos, plus some posters and a few books.

What is your level of expertise?: Long Time Lover

Why do you want to join Autograph Live?: I've been a fan of films for most of my life, and have been attending celebrity conventions for ten years. I found this site through Google, and thought the forums might be a good place to discuss this hobby.

Who can we thank for telling you about us?: No one invited me.

What are your areas of interest?: Books/Literature, Modern Hollywood and Stage, SciFi

Why do you collect?: To me, autographs serve as tangible reminders of memories often forgotten or dismissed. I'm not into this hobby for its own sake; I only buy autographs below a certain price point, from people whose work I truly like and admire.

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?: Wow, that's a tough one. The 8x10 from Nolan Ryan is great, because I always wanted to meet him and never have. If that chance ever comes, I'll gladly take it. I recently got to interview actor John Schneider, but the gold marker he used for the 8x10 wasn't very good in quality. I guess one of my all-time faves is the first I ever got, from "Buffy" and "Roswell" actress Julie Benz. She signed it "Bite Me" in reference to her famous role, which made me laugh. Another is from Arleen Sorkin, who signed a Harley Quinn shot "To Mr. J", after learning my name was Joshua. =)

You can ask anyone living or dead for their autograph. Who would it be?: That's easy: Michael Jackson. I was so sad when I learned he died. Even though I never met him, it truly felt like losing a friend.
