<p> I wrote back saying that I lived in California and have protection under Civil Code Section 1739.7 regarding autographed items sold in the State and into the State by auctioneers.</p>
<p>Their reply: We have terms and conditions for our sales that we stand behind If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, then please do not bid in our auction.</p>
<p>Looking at their terms and conditions:<span style="font: 13px/14px verdana; text-align: left; color: #000000; text-transform: none; text-indent: 0px; letter-spacing: normal; word-spacing: 0px; float: none; display: inline !important; white-space: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;">Reading & Agreeing to Our Terms & Conditions is REQUIRED Before Placing Bids. By Placing a Bid in Our Auction, You Agree that you Have Read, Understood and Agree to all Terms & Conditions and that this is a Legally Binding Contract. All property is sold "AS IS," ALL SALES ARE FINAL - NO Refunds or Credit Card Chargebacks for ANY Reason. Anyone attempting a Chargeback will be Charged a Breach of Contract Fee of $1000.00 OR 50% of their Total, whichever is greater.</span></p>
<p><span style="font: 13px/14px verdana; text-align: left; color: #000000; text-transform: none; text-indent: 0px; letter-spacing: normal; word-spacing: 0px; float: none; display: inline !important; white-space: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;">Obviously, Pioneer Auctions is a scammer out for the quick buck (like Coachs Corner) but what can you do? I wrote the Attorney General of California (Kamala Harris) about a $100 transaction involving a bad autograph and her reply was for me to take them to court.</span></p>
<p><span style="font: 13px/14px verdana; text-align: left; color: #000000; text-transform: none; text-indent: 0px; letter-spacing: normal; word-spacing: 0px; float: none; display: inline !important; white-space: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;">Where is the government - you have laws but they won't enforce them. They should be out there soliciting information about these companies and going after them like Operation Bullpen</span></p>
