Authenticity is Everything

Autographs on TV -- Stormy Daniels and Chuck Norris Edition
Last night I saw a commercial for a car. Well, I think it was for a car. I don't pay much attention to commercials. Chuck Norris was standing there (or maybe kicking and punching, again...I don't pay much attention to commercials). Then the person buying the white Ford Bronco or whatever vehicle it was, asked Norris to autograph it. So he took the black Sharpie and signed the hood of it.
Now this morning, I'm watching The View. It's an awful, awful show, but I'm working on the computer and often just have the TV on in the background. Well, porn star Stormy Daniels is on talking about a new book, and Donald Trump. They brought up her arrest at a strip club (being charged with "touching" a patron, who was an undercover cop). Her and her lawyer said that before the cops arrested her, they got in line and took photos and asked for autographs.
Very strange to think that arresting officers would ask for an autograph. Now, I've heard of cops pulling over someone famous, and letting them out of a ticket and asking for an autograph or selfie (which has gotten some cops in trouble). But this one takes the cake.

The police behave unprofessionally if they asked her for her autograph before arresting her. What would her autograph be worth anyway? Who cares?
Besides, she would be a footnote if this was anyone else except for the Trump association angle. Is fame so important that people are no longer ashamed of their poor behavior anymore?

I'm with Steve here. I doubt that story is true, and saying unlikely stuff like that won't do her credibility any favors. Cops sometimes do dumb things, but that's not very believable.
