Ebay Seller Jasontw80 Lists Forged Counterfeit Kobe Bryant 2000-01 Ovation Autograph Card

Immediately below are links to previous threads on forged/counterfeit Kobe Bryant "2000-01 Ovation" cards.

People are continuing to emotionally impulsive buy Kobe Bryant forgeries on Ebay.

I find all of this disgusting.

Below is another example of a forged/counterfeit Kobe Bryant "2000-01 Upper Deck Ovation" card.

This one is listed by Ebay seller Jasontw80.

Hundreds of these have sold since Kobe was killed in January of this year.

During the first eight hours after Kobe's passing, over 100 of these were sold by Ebay dirt-bag scammers.

This particular card was a super-rare pull.

It is so easy to sell forgeries on Ebay with Ebay so heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers.

Christopher: Back in the day, ebay had people who worked for them attempt to delete forgeries. Why and when did this stop? The problem is that the buyers of the forgeries on ebay are not members of this site.  Thanks for your diligence.

Hi Bernard.  I know all about that.  It was called the EMR team.  Ebay was losing too much money from removing the auction listings of forgeries.

Hello Christopher:

I have not been dealing with Ebay for years so I am not playing dum-dum. Are you telling me that Ebay no longer vets autographs and anything goes? What about Amazon or Etsy?

There are literally thousands of 'little fish' forgers. That is why I have concentrated on the 'big fish' PRESTIGE AUTOGRAPH' Brian Burkel. I hope you are following the 'five click' regimen. Thanks for your effort.

That's exactly what I am telling you, Bernard.

Not only that, they no longer enforce their own "Ebay Banned COA" list.

At what point does the FBI get involved in such a forgery ring?

Comment by CJCollector on October 3, 2020 at 6:08pm

I wish I could go into detail, BC, but I've been (as others have) been involved with certain agencies, and it really comes down  to "it isn't worth their time."

This is why I continue to do what I do.

Christopher

In your opinion:

Does any forger spend more on SEO/advertising clicks than Brian Burkel= Prestige Collectibles?

Does any forger make more money?

If not Burkel, who is it?..... in your opinion.

                                              Thanks

I know one or two that probably have.
