When I first observed the below forged Mickey Mantle photo I did a double-take.
As you can see, it was authenticated by PSA on May 7th, 2025.
I then did a PSA Cert-Check to confirm that PSA did indeed authenticate the below "Mantle."
It is a valid LOA.
The employee who "authenticated" that "Mantle," has, in my opinion, no business being in that position.
There's absolutely no excuse for this.
I have been a supporter of the TPA's over the last twenty-five years, but there is no excuse for this. This is a forgery that should have been opined in one second as "Not Authentic."
This is a common forgery-style that I have observed hundreds of times.

Not until I joined AML , I know it is sad and tragic. The good thing is I know a lot about him and Babe Ruth now
"...this is a real black eye for PSA..."
This can match the one from the "Houdini" ;)
I wonder how many employees they have? The passed over 400,000 autographs in a single year and that was 10 years ago.
That is over 1000 a day...
I was just at PSA DNA Santa Ana office about 2 weeks ago.
I was told they have 2000 employees there.
And there is Jersey City, perhaps of equal size.
And two new locations announced.just today for July 2025 (tickets) and sometime in 2026 (card grading).
It appears 75% of submissions come from the USA
It's so shadowy and mysterious. And seemingly more and more unreliable.
What Terrier posted is spot on; this is a real black eye for PSA.
I still want to know the individual who signed off on that "Mantle."
