Interesting. The foil stamp in the upper left, doesn't look stamped. The D in his name on the printed on the card in the lower left is too close to the border. The pixelated background is the easy spot that the card is a fake. . It almost appears to be sitting on top of the card. As for the forgery, I could see how someone inexperienced with his signature would buy it. It is certainly better than other attempts.

Christopher, I noticed in the sold section the other day for "derek jeter autographed" several suspicious jersey numbers. They all sold pretty cheap.

I haven't had a chance to look closely.

You confirmed (like you did the Jeter 1995 UD counterfeit card) that it's a counterfeit.

BTW, the buyer of that card flipped it today for $485.00.

These cards will be a problem. The forged sigs will fool many.

Could the D & S be closer to the edge because it's an off-center genuine card?  I don't know if the real ones can be off-center like earlier cards.

All of the autographs on all of the forged/counterfeit cards fool those who don't know autographs because they buy the COA on the card and not the autograph.

Steve, check out my below blog.  Read the bottom of it about the blank "bankruptcy" cards.

Those are being old by the same people who sell the forged counterfeit cards.

I don't doubt that the autograph is forged, and the cards are likely counterfeit since they're pre-signed only, and the forged one looks pixelated like BC said.

I'm just asking if being off-center is a telltale sign.

Steve, the Leaf Signature cards were cut very well. I don't think I've seen any off center examples.

I agree with BC.

I'm sure we'll be seeing more of these on EBay, although I have observed that as soon as a particular forged/counterfeit card is exposed here, the primary sellers of them stop and they start over with a new forged/counterfeit card.
