Head's up that the atmos may be different these days if you go see Dave -- he's allegedly ditched the previous woman for someone he hooked up with on the tour back in May. ..Dave is usually very generous with fans, and had been enthusiastic about meet and greets prior to having Kate as his 'manager', so perhaps things will change for the better now.

Well Josh let me say thank you for writing them. I hope you know a lot of us enjoy your blogs and read them, but may be reserved to not add to the conversation if we have nothing to add. Thanks for reporting from the front lines. I wish I had the time to blog about my experiences, but with a couple of grand kids and a 9 to 5er it is hard to find extra time on top of my collecting. Thanks for reporting from the front lines. I wish I had the time to blog about my experiences, but with a couple of grand kids and a 9 to 5er it is hard to find extra time on top of my collecting. I could tell you about my "tea with Ringo" and my weekend with Michael Jackson (minds out of the gutter) or chauffeuring around Johnny B. Goode himself, but I will save those for another day - or my book.

My oldest granddaughter is a collector too, but we have to stick with the current pop bands for her to really get excited. There also isn't a lot of autographing going on with these type of singers/bands she has found out. A lot of screaming, crying, along with 25 other pre-teens outside of a hotel isn't my idea of a good day, but she enjoys it. She is always amazed at how the performers from my generation are for the most part approachable and good about autographs. She is used to being held back by a bodyguard or barricade. Keep up the great work and writing.
John -- I appreciate you chim…tag:live.autographmagazine.com,2013-07-19:3524372:Comment:4178292013-07-19T08:17:12.178ZJosh Boardhttps://live.autographmagazine.com/profile/JoshBoard870

John -- I appreciate you chiming in on a few different stories tonight. It's always great when others share their experiences -- and we have it CONFIRMED, they weren't just having a bad day. It's the way they usually are! hahahahahaha.

Well that is good to know on Davies. I know now to not waste my time if he is performing near me. I have several vintage sets from over the years anyway. Yes Mrs. McGuinn is the consummate good cop/bad cop. She is all smiles at the merch table when she is seeing money being pulled from your pocket, but head to the back of the venue after the show and she turns into a completely different person.

Arriving for a 2011 performance Roger McGuinn signed a poster for a show of his I produced years ago. But there were only a few people around. His wife subsequently told me that they hate seeing items he signs show up on Ebay the next day.

Another guy who is awful to fans on the street is Felix Cavaliere. His wife does the same thing...keeping people at bay. After the Rascal's recent Broadway shows there might have been 8 or 10 people outside and I saw him just blow through them.…

The other Rascals were generally cool about signing, especially Eddie Brigati who seemed to enjoy it.

Roger's wife told me at his show "he sells signed CDs inside," and they did. A nice price, too ($20, I believe). Yet Roger just walked by me. No...this woman is an evil bitch. It has nothing to do with "a bad day." Not at all. Read the previous stories. She's been doing this for years. She did it to my friend a few nights earlier!!! I bet, she did this, because SHE wants to make money selling his autograph (on their website, they sell signed stuff...and they probably put it all on ebay).…

Josh - I wonder if Mr. Davies lightened up after your encounter (or maybe he was easier before he got to California), but there are around 30 Dave Davies signatures on ebay as of today and they appear to be recent signatures from what I can tell? Maybe his friend was just having a bad day - or he told them to do this so he wasn't the one to look like a bad guy that night? This is a tactic Roger mcGuinn and his wife like to employ.
