Why do you want to join Autograph Live?: Hoping that you can help raise my level of understanding in regards to my now deceased Grandfather's collection of autographed memorabilia.

He lived in Los Angeles for over 20 years and was a frequent patron of the Beverly Garland Autograph events.

Probably close to 125 or more inscribed BW 8x10's including; Petticoat Junction Cast, Adamms Family Cast, Phyllis Coates (Lois Lane), Don Knotts, etc. etc.

Totally legitimate collection as he was himself a photographer and there's a lot of back story associated with his arrival in LA.

Additionally, there is a volume of Scream Queen and Playmate inscribed photos- most partially or totally nude.

I have no emotional ties to the collection and quite frankly, want to get rid of it ASAP.

What does one do to start?

Catalogue the signatures (some of the older stars I have no idea and it's somewhat difficult to read their signature.)?

Get the entire collection authenticated? How- How much?

Find an individual or business willing to buy in whole or in part? Sell on Ebay?

Any help would be appreciated.

Good questions. I'd save them as medium to high quality JPGs, about 800 pixels high should make them really visible. Even 700 works. That should make them all under 150K each...many even 50-75K. I'm glad you asked: please no nudity here. Upload as many as you want, even if it takes several albums. Title each item and use tags--they make searching easier.

If your grandfather got them personality, there shouldn't be any that look like obvious forgeries. If he has some that weren't signed in front of him, that's a different story.
