I'm 50/50 on this one.  What does everyone else think? Eva? Eric, Steve etc., It's probably real and I'm just getting too paranoid! :-) At first glance I doubted it, but the longer I looked, the…Continue

I understand what you are saying about her contract signature . I will try and get a closer look of the photo . Also I'm a little confused , how do I post to your Marilyn Monroe forum , I get a message "You can only send messages to friends on Autograph Magazine Live". This photo does not belong to anybody , this photo was put on a bulletin board by someone at my workplace who is no longer here . It's been here for at least 10 plus years or more , so it adds to the mystery for me . I was hoping this would have been a cool find since my co-workers have never made an investigation into it . The theory is that it's been placed there around the same time as the corvette poster right next to it which is dated at 1984 . I posted a close up of the autograph and corvette poster.

Hello Pauline ,

I'm new to this group so I hope I'm doing this right I want to get some feedback on a Marilyn Monroe Autograph .

The photo is in good condition , however there are signs of yellowing on the bottom from aging . Also someone had the nutty idea to glue the photo to a bulletin board  next to corvette poster which is actually dated to 1984 . I don't want Marilyn Monroe fans to get upset as I did not do that . It has kept the photo from curling and is mainly flat like it was kept in a book properly . It was signed with a blue pen on the right side . Also it looks like someone had the name Marilyn Monroe typed on the bottom . I don't know if that's how they did things back then but it's on the bottom in the photo .
I would like to know what kind of collector value this would have and also have some kind of input on the autograph . I have more photos of this one if people want different angles but these came out the best .

Thank You

Dan

It's all set :)  Thanks for making her--her own group, I hope you don't mind I joined.  I always had interest in Ms. Monroe :)

I Pauline, I talked to Steve about the 2 (two) groups you've made, please delete one of the groups.  He said its fine that there is a new Marilyn group, but no need for two :)  (one group has 3 people, one has 2, so maybe the one less?)  Thanks.  If you can't figure out how to delete it let me know and I will do it for you.

Pauline can you tell me what the differences is in the two groups you made ?  I also need to check with Steve to make sure there isn't already a group specific to her (I don't think there is - but I honestly do not know exactly where to look).

The reason I ask is we don't want to create numerous groups that essentially may have the same types of discussions.
