A friend of mine was a big fan of Elizabeth Taylor and I wrote to her in1983 when she was in NYC at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre doing Private Lives. I received a letter back from her..

I would say secretarial. The signature looks too neat and the letter content suggests that the work of a secretary. Very often secretaries were asked to write things like "thank you for your kind gift/words" and "I'm very much looking forward to my next movie ("name of movie)".

I am new to this site and certainly no expert and not with your experience. I was not sure where to or what the "thecead.com" was. However, in my search around the site, I came across your post on November 30,2016 4:27 pm with CEAD Scans (attached) . Was this what you were referring to?

Again, I am new to this site and know nothing about autographs, however in looking at the 1983 Cead exemplar adjusted for angle, it appears to me that this autograph more closely resembles the second playbill which was "thought" to be authentic?

I find this all very interesting!

I've attached the page in case people look at this thread in the years to come and the thecead site changes or disappears.

The 1983 example you refer to looks different to the example you posted for discussion, particularly the Elizabeth part. To me it looks like someone (i.e. Taylor's secretary) copying Elizabeth Taylor's autograph. That said, it should look somewhat similar to the genuine article.
