Musicians Who Sell Their Signatures In Shop.

We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Yeah the two Dollys posted look identical. Where are those from again? Seems like all big names lately are coming with question marks. Real shame

They're from PledgeMusic, a platform for musicians to sell directly to their fanbase. The folks there are good and helpful, and I don't think they expected Dolly would be selling autopened items.

Damn. I think she was charging quite a bit too. I can't understand how these people feel that what they're doing is okay. Demi Lovato is still selling that garbage on her website.

I almost ordered one as Dolly is a pretty tough autograph with security that acts like the secret service! Getting pretty sick of this and Ive ordered from Pledge before so I'm going to try to contact them as this kind of stuff hurts their integrity though its not their fault (though it would be nice if they could inspect and tell the suppliers NO autopens) !

I sent PledgeMusic a message. Also left a message in the discussion area. Probably nobody monitoring that anymore. I’m a rock person but considered Dolly an America icon and a great personality. Very disappointed

I left a message too. It makes me mad that these stars are putting so many fake autographs into the marketplace, and at $80, you should expect to get one hand signed. The Demi wasn’t even worth paying the postage to ship it back, but this one is. Hopefully they will do the right thing and refund our money.
