Yes, they're good.

thanks for the info...i did visit the website and found out they are in the autographs of boxing but i found a robert de niro autographed raging bull photo with btw hologram and coa but to be honest wasn't sure what to think. now i know what to do with a better feeling. thank you so much.

Rob,

I'm surprised they certified a De Niro autograph. My recommendation is for boxing exclusively.

Why not post the autograph in question?

i just did eric as a answer to steve cyrkin.

Hi Rob,

That may well be good - appears so. Others more familiar with his signature will hopefully chime in. As far as WBC, I also was surprised to see they had authenticated this. A strict reading of their own (WBC) website would imply that an entertainment autograph should be authenticated by a company who is well established with entertainment. Something to consider.

As an aside, I really wish this sticker nonsense would stop already - this vandalism. In the future there might be a premium on what may be called "clean autographs" - things that made it through these crazy times when sticker application is rampant. Stickers on paintings? I don't think so - not on the Obverse. Many stamps on the Reverse of paintings - early form of "sticker" actually. How many Hendrix have stickers on them?

i have no problems with holograms on photo's because when you frame them you and others can see that they match with the coa with matching number. or better is a coa with photo of the item but many could make forgery's of that kind of coa's.

Yes, but that doesn't make them genuine.

It is personal preference. I do not buy or sell anything that has been stickered/vandalized.

i just send a email to wbc and hope to get a answer soon .

WBC makes a major deal about being dedicated to boxing autographs only -- and criticizes companies that stray from their areas of strength -- so this is quite surprising, if was indeed authenticated by WBC.

By the way, I never apply stickers to items I authenticate. I issue letters with photos only. My hologram goes on the letter, not the item.

Modern sports and entertainment collectors don't seem to mind stickers galore, but in my experience, historical collectors, and NASA collectors especially, strongly object to stickers on the items. Add a sticker to a vintage NASA lithograph... congratulations... you just cut the value in half.
