I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Good eye Charley. The piece pictured in the listing is in fact an OPix photo with a hologram. The one I received the holo is part of the print, the photo is a copy, and the signature is a disaster.

I bought this one on the 5th it arrived on the 8th, and upon looking at his other items, I saw that he relisted and sold another of the same image for 3 times as much on the 8th. Hopefully the other winner knows his stuff.

Do ebay step in?

Iv been collecting since around 2002. Heres what iv nabbed over the years. Sorry for poor quality photos

Looks great Karl. If you’re ever thinking of selling your Ford or Hamill, please let me know!

Cheers mate. But the 3 on my wall are my holy trinity lol . I have another harrison ford signed 10x8 but i need to get it authenticated  as i dont 100% know if its real. I bought it long time ago from a site called writestuffautographs.

The contrast is still making the autograph difficult to see, but I still say that it is pretty typical.  Great collection.

I have this Peter Mahew out of costume SP, adding "Chewbacca" and signed in 2002 at the Hollywood Collectors Show. I only saw one on eBay and it was a forgery.

How desirable is this, and what's the value?

Thanks

There really a cool signed photo, Steve!

Peter had that shot available for a long time, he may still have it at shows.

Thanks, Pete. Why don't you see many offered? Because most prefer a costume shot? What are these worth, BTW?

Thanks

Most Star Wars collectors do want a shot of Chewbacca, not Peter. Mr. Mayhew has not been super fan friendly in the last decade or 2, which doesn't help people to warm up to him, and want a memory of being ignored or grunted at.

But people still love his character.

I think Peter has been between $40 and $60 an autograph with bumps in either direction based on the convention and what other people are charging. I can't see this being any different.

I’d be surprised if anyone paid more than $30 for it.
