If I had a low number (say 10/100) of a famous ballplayer, what would the value might be for it being a 10/100?  What would a 10/100 go for and what would a 87/100 go for?  I got it also authenticated by PSA.  TIA

Your question is so ridiculously vague. i would guess a 10/100 would have a ton of value over an 87/100 if only 86 people in the world wanted that guys autograph. Otherwise unless the number had a specific tie to the player I'd say both would be equal value.

Who is the player? Would help get your question answered.

I don’t think a lower Number would drive any significant value whatsoever.

The only exception might be the #1 or the number that was also the players number. For instance, if it’s a Derek Jeter edition,  the #2 may have more value.

Otherwise, I really don’t see a number 20 having more value than the number 80 out of 100.

usualy especial with artwork 1# is worth the most it gets a premium. a lot of times 1-10 aren't sold to the public .

oh wow, I didn't know that. Thx for stating that john. That may explain why I have never seen those numbers.

But I agree that #1 is most desirable and maybe the last number. I never did understand why people get hung up on which number it is. I've seen some crappy sigs at lower numbers while some higher #'s had far nicer sigs. To me, its the sig, not the number.

I have from a band a complete tour set of number one posters signed edition . its worth 3 to 4 times what the other ones were worth

also the artists or band usualy pull the first few or say 10 for them selves that's why there rearely on the market.

pss . they are also numberd ramdomdomly but still number 1 is worth the most.

fantastic information john.

I have been asking several people about how this process works with no answers until now.

And I had no idea their value was so much higher.

Thx again

thanks for the help.

Bear in mind, the original question was about numbered signed photo displays from "Stacks of Plaques." This is a company that mass-produced MDF wood plaque displays of various ballplayers.

Not quite the same as numbered artists proofs, artwork, etc.

totally agreed. I don't deal in sports or anything like that.

my coment was ment towards concert posters artwork or sihned edditions but this could apply to like lyero nieman signed siuff his art work.

but I think a 1 #  of say edition of 25 signed helments by oj  saying I kelled would be worth more
