When I first joined this site to list this LP - I wrote out a paragraph that included what I knew about the LP through research but I couldn't find that part of my post.  I could just see the photos.  I am going to paste some of that now with some editing.  Also new info after looking at the album again based on some of the comments I do see the engraved numbers around the center of the label.  I see on side A - 6360011 1Y  // 1 (upside down triangle) 420.  Site B shows: 6360011 2 Y // 1 (upside down triangle) 420      115?

I've been cleaning out one of my storage units and came across an album I bought at auction. In doing some research on it  we find this info: Black Sabbath, Paranoid LP, thick vinyl, first press 1970 UK. By Vertigo. Indicators of first pressing on this album - song spacing lines on side B are two instead of 3 lines as in later pressings. Another indicator is the managers name of Jim Simpson being inside the album cover. Apparently the band had a falling out with this manager and had his name removed after the first 100 LP's were printed. Signed by all the band members. Need help authenticating the autographs.  Ebay has a bit on this album and it looks like the album itself may be worth about 1K but the autographs are what make it more unique. They are in ball point pen and I can see an indentation and feel one as well.

I have received a ton of interest on this piece and wouldn't mind putting it out for everyone to bid on.  Do you think Ebay is the best and fairest venue for this and if so...I could get it on today.  If you are local then you can view in person of course.  I can take additional photos of the album itself showing the engravings and the condition of the vinyl.  I have not played the album myself so hopefully you can see for yourself.  I don't see any scratches.  If it goes to Ebay I will list under my fiance John Hillyard.  His seller name is RevolutionSSB and all his feedback is good.  Is there a better venue?

Black Sabbath, Paranoid LP, signed by band, 1970.  Ebay auction # 162837477655.  I've had a few really good private offers but I need to sell this for as much as someone is willing to pay for it - completely unable to set a price myself for this LP so I will open it up to everyone.  Thanks so much.

So exciting - Of course I wish everyone wouldn't wait to bid until the last minute.  If EBAY would just change their policy to add another two minutes to the end of the auction if a late bid came in.. I hate getting outbid on something by $5.
