oh thats nice kamran

that's early modona tons of pics from that eara but knowbody cared she was a unknow dance artist . she was juniors protégé.

Seeking autographs may have become more popular and mainstream in the 80's but people have been asking for celeb sigs for decades before that. So ya it is very possible. How do you think we can aquire signatures by the Beatles or Hendrix or Cassius Clay or James Cagney etc..... obviously it's because people asked for them. So... the point of my post was to show that even in the late 70's, Madonna was becoming recognized... Duh

Maybe I wasn't clear enough when I stated that's all I'm going to say about my little personal story. And it also reinforces the fact that Madonna could have signed earlier than her popular fame period ... duh

Would it not be more respectful to discuss the merits of the original poster's question? He seems to be seeking opinions about the authenticity of the autograph. Is it real? Yes? No?

I understand your point Joe.

But part of this discussion is whether or not it was possible or probable to aquire a Madonna signature in the 70's. I say yes it is possible. Sometimes the story can help decifer it's legitimacy as you well know. Her signature would obviously not be the same back then as is what we are accustomed to seeing. Although this one does bare very close similarities.

I think the bottom line is that the original poster was inquiring about the authenticity of the signature. This discussion is not adding to that target. Perhaps the date is wrong. Does it look like an authentic Madonna autograph?

It does show similarities in form to modern sigs.

And... I see no problem in taking the conversation on a tangent that still is connected to the signature. It's kind of interesting to see what people think about whether or not she could have signed before her fame status.

It's harmless discussion and yet it's a very interesting one. Not everything is B&W here

in the 1970s  she was a broke nude model not yet really living in nyc. I say no unless its on a document.

your word carries serious weight

And thx for posting your experiences once again

settle down kid

I NEVER gave you permission to buy anything for me

Being interested in an autograph doesn't mean I have to buy it.

I've bought several sigs from members here. And my first purchase was from you.

So take your kiddy fight to pm or bugger off !!!!!

And here we go...

You sound like a used car salesman.

I'm not getting into this w/ you. I've stated my responses and you obviously have difficulty in comprehension. Prime example.... I did NOT cancel the Buddy Rich deal. Read it man.

Go to our respected corners and call it a draw. It's just not worth my time.

Later bro

goodcat53 we've been watching you and we have to say you are quite SMUG!

Let me tell you a little story about life, you get respect when you GIVE respect.
