Geeez,,where is that thread that(dare say) Roger questioned a Frank autogrtaph...

I saw it a year or two back.

Can some one point me to it now,......

He seemed to ....well don't know.

I am getting ready to sue Frank C because he has in essence stolen 30K from me.

Meaning thirty thousand dollars.

He sold it...and I haven't gotten paid.....

Pieces I have consigned with him.

It say's sold.....on his website....yet.....well.....

and it has gone on for years............................................................

This is a serious question..............................

Steve - Would you be content to consign something and have it appear as "sold" on a website for yearsssssssssss.......and not get paid? Just asking. It is wrong no matter how you shake it or what your opinion is of him. People go to jail for that.

Tommy, I want to try to give you the benefit of the doubt and believe everything you state.

Do you have records stating when you consigned with Frank and the details of the consignment?

Where and when did you originally obtain the pieces you consigned to him?

I guess what confuses me the most is why wait 9 to 10 years to speak up here now to say that he owes you money? I don't want to rush to any judgement one way or the other, but not a lot of facts have been given here yet.

Tommy, might it be wise to remove all your posts regarding this until you seek legal counsel?

10 years?

PS - I suggest changing the title of this as well.

10 years......

as you said....

well it took a few years for them to appear as sold.

And you want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

As pretty much everyone is doing on me now.

I was the same.

Well it will "work out". He's honest.

Finally heard back from him. Through a generic e-mail.

My fingers are crossed. Maybe there is a rational explanation for it all.

And F#@$#KK that.

Now all of a sudden......I........am the victim.

"Well you should have come down harder on him...!!!!!!"

What would you do...?

I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Well. To be honest. Frank,,,,

It has been years of putting me off. From my perspective.

But I just did get an e-mail back from him asking for my phone number.

So....I will let him finally call me. And hopefully it works out.

All I want is my money or pieces back.

Not tooooooooo complicated.

Well, I hope this works out to everyones satisfaction Tommy :)

Tommy,

No, I would not. I would be upset like you are.

You asked about Roger’s post so I told you about it.

Update...... Steve.. please pass around.

Just got off the phone with Frank.....

It appears he has been having e-mail problems...

Ya heard the song by Led Zep called "Communication BreakDown"..?

He was on AOL. Which no one is these days......

He honestly thought he had paid me.

He didn't. But In a business.....well I can see that. He sells a lot of Beatles stuff.

Soooooooooooooooooooo.....

He will be making good what he owes me.

And I can say honestly that I take him at his word and is was a miscommunication,

So we move forward. And this case will be settled on good terms.

I think it also has to be stated (fairly) that every authenticator gets something wrong once in awhile. I just don't see what that has to do with whatever consignment agreement was made 10 years ago.

Be it spite or whatever from this all either being a misunderstanding or perhaps even fraud (who knows),  but the title of this discussion has nothing to do with anything involving what you claim .

Especially when you say "whether he was giving out letters when he shouldn't have been"...Which could be said of anyone in the authentication field that gets it wrong. Here now it starts to be spewed malice out of either anger or trying to hurt someones reputation as an authenticator. Which has nothing to do with a consignment. I would suggest a different title as well.

Adam - Please see my post right up above this one.

It appears Frank was having e-mail issues.

Technology just changes so rapidly.

And he was stuck on an old system via his communication with me.

But...Obviously I was worried. I couldn't get a response. Or paid.

But...It was an honest mistake on his part.

And we are working it out.

Sooooooooooooooooo.

I still consider him the best at authentication....

He just hasn't upgraded his server with the times....

But to be clear - it was an honest mistake on his part.

This whole thread has been a bit strange. If he pays you might just want to delete all of this. You should also thank Steve.
