Hey folks,

we have a TV show over here where people can let their treasures they maybe wanna sell check and getting a price from expert. Later in the show they can offer the items to 4 dealers and sell the itmes.

I know saw a on one show that a old lady sold her passport in which Jimi Hendrix Noel and Mitch have apperently signed. The lady claimed there was no paper that is why they signed prior the Hamburg show in her passport. What struggles me is that they had no paper but three different color paintball. And the signatures look quit fresh for 50 year old signatures.

The passport sold in the show for 1600 Euro what is around 1800 US$.

Just curious about what you guys think.

I've seen this before. It was on eBay a while back, I believe at a much higher price. It looks good to me.

yes it was on e bay from memory at around 8000 euros about a year or so ago i made an offer on it but got nowhere i think its genuine ,the story was something like  jimi told some doormen to let the girl in to the show as she was too young, its a nice piece and would have made a good price so its odd that they let it go so low unless its the magic of TV

As I said it showed the sell by the original owner. She told that story on TV. I asume that the buyer/dealer later on put it on ebay for that money.

So the show's expert told her it was worth 1600 Euros, she sold it to one of the show's dealers at that price, and then that dealer tried to flip it on eBay for a huge profit?

Infuriating, isn't it? He would have gotten a bargain at twice that.

$8,000 isn't an unreasonable price for that. You'd be hard-pressed to find a Hendrix and The Experience set with better display value.

I don’t recall seeing it before, but it looks good to me. I hope she got more than 1600 Euros.

Don't know it is a scripted show and it is known that there are made up stories and sellers. I was just curious about it. 1600 Euro would be a very low price for it as the signatures are clear and look like signed just yesterday.

that could explain it
