Give it the "shine test" hold a light at an angle and look for ink that casts a different color or shade if it does it['s live ink. If it disappears into the light then it's a fake.
I haven't seen another printed signature like this on Google so it could be the real thing. I am pretty certain it is his autograph, from circa 1969 when he used to circle his i's on Eric and written in a much less rushed style than since 1989.

The signature has an unnatural, slow and wobbly look.
