Be that..those(?)...as it may, the first and third are not items I would buy, sell or recommend. That is me. I prefer strong, fully signed, non-rushed examples if at all possible. I suggest only collecting (paying for) examples that you can see are authentic for yourself.

Edit to add: I hate those dosh darn stickers!

DAVID%20GILMOUR%20ROGER%20WATERS%201.jpgDavid%20Gilmour%2080.jpgDAVID%20GILMOUR%2015%20GOLD.JPGI agree.

I have no doubt in Roger Epperson. David just signed quickly.

I traded my David Gilmour autographed "THE WALL LP" for these Two David Gilmour autographs plus some more for Corey.

These are your traditional David Gilmour autographs.

I really wanted them.

Corey Moylan ultimately got Roger Waters' autograph along with the David Gilmour autograph.

I was proud of Corey DAVID%20GILMOUR%20ROGER%20WATERS%201.jpgDavid%20Gilmour%2080.jpgDAVID%20GILMOUR%2015%20GOLD.JPG

And this thread get's more interesting

That's a VERY unusual Gilmour (1st example). It looks like he started to do a nice sig and ended with "ah screw it, I gotta go" type of feel haha

But if it came from Epperson in person, then not much point in disputing that provenance.

So now it's just a matter of the 3rd Waters example. Where did this sig come from? If you're looking for Epperson's opinion, why not just send it to him via "quick opinion"? The chances of him posting here for free is not likely, along with the other's on your list (except Steve Cyrkin)

This thread is proving to me that it's more important to collect "typical" and well formed signatures. And of course with "no doubts" to authenticity by anyone.

I provided the 5 exemplars from quality sources so I can support my belief in this Rogers Waters' The LP.

Now, here are even more exemplars.

I believe a forger would have a tough time beginning to write such a Large "R" for The WALL LP.

My exemplars are these:

1.

2. Mine (It originated Roger%20Waters%20101.jpg from AACS 8 years ago.)

3. ROGER%20WATERS%2098%20LANCE%20ENGLAND.jpg

If you notice the "R" have a very distinctive Pull Up. The "Waters" is still messy.

This would be hard to do as Forger. What purpose does it serve?

Forgers by their very nature try to be "Natural."

4. Roger Waters' "The Autographs Source"Roger%20Waters%20106%20The%20Autograph%20Source.jpg

The Large Line starts it all off.

There is one "Achilles Hill" to this autograph. There is no Hook on the "W."

5. ROGER%20WATERS%2098.jpg

autographs99 has a pretty good reputation as far as I know

Also, another point on Waters (3rd example) is that in Roger, he normally comes off the top of the "o" when going to the form the "g"

Your third example looks more like an "a" and is very atypical

The hook in the "W' is one of the first things to look for, and it's rare but it does happen that there is no hook.

Here is an example with "NO HOOK." Lee Hunter got it himself.

Wallsofsound2,Lee's Company, is a Rock Solid Company and so is his reputation.

Justin Maser and Corey Moylan respect him as they should.

These two have taught me a lot.

As I said, the "no hook" does happen. It sounds like you misread my post? Or I'm misreading yours now?

But if you look really closely at the last example you posted, it DOES have a hook. It's very small but it's there.

When I say "no hook", I mean a complete straight finish at the end of the "W". He normally finishes to the left.

Kind of like this one. No hook or "slight bend" to the left at the finish is pretty unusual to find but it can happen.

Goodcat53, I do see the "W" Hook.

As for my original post, feel free to speak your mind.

I do suggest my posts should not cause anger, frustration, or resentment in some circles without producing learning.

I came to you as "Community" because as a whole you keep the hobby healthy.

Steve Cyrkin, you can count on me and be a credit to the community.

well thanks for letting me speak my mind haha

Especially since you said "opinions needed" for these sigs in the beginning.

It's obvious you only needed opinions on one of these. And I can take a pretty good guess why you chose this approach.

And I appreciate your suggestions on riot control haha

We've already learned a few things here.

Feel free to post more items for us ;)

I am not good at quick or sarcastic wit.

I don't like it because it is mean-spirited.

I care only about autograph "Truth and Facts."

My post was being directed toward other Forum Users.

It was getting ugly just to be.

Is it normal for such behavior or "Haters" in these "Forums?"

Thanks. Mark

P.S. I heard to word Banned

It's a public sand box Mark, just like the rest of the world

People will say and do as they wish

But if things get out of hand, Steve will step in as moderator

Just roll with the punches mate. It will be easier that way.

Welcome aboard and I'll be looking forward to more of your posts.

Cheers

Now back to the sigs at hand...

GC, remember recent the stolen "proof photo" debacle...
