In this specific case, I must agree. It does help that it's a 70s item but the signatures are simply not good examples of their hand. They are rushed and the fact is, itll likely never be considered a top price item, although I do fully expect freddie and queen items to shoot through the roof after the movie releases- low quality signatures will remain on the lower value end of that spectrum.

Right now is not the time to be asking insane prices and expecting to get them. Right now is the time to buy at the current (and fair) prices because the real price bump will come after the movie. Unfortunately, this gentleman seems to have jumped the gun and perhaps assumes that this item is in the same league as anything signed for Innuendo promo and it's not. People are snatching up freddie and queen items right now to flip after the movie and that's when some items will reach this price.

This item wont sell for this price today at that quality imo.

"wont sell for this price today". Its not my intention to sell it today.

Well guys he also put it on a RACC a while ago and had offers for 3.500 Euros within hours... not saying that it will go much higher but it is not impossible.

When the Innuendo poster was sold for 6k everyone was shouting that it was that it was exception. Well I sold mine for over 5k USD and mine had some flaws  and wasn't perfect. I just think that the limit for Queen graphs hasn't been met yet. Let's see what happens

An Innundo item vs any other item will always come up as more valuable. It's the last thing mercury was alive to see and it was the hardest thing to obtain genuine signatures on. Up until that 6K innuendo piece sold none had broken that price before. And most still wont imo.

Patrick, $4K for that item is more than fair. Way more than fair. For today's prices. It's up to your friend if he sells and for what price but I do have to agree with the others here....its a bit much.

If he wishes to get that high a price (higher than $4K USD), he needs to hold on to it until after the movie and hope the thing gets nominated for all kinds of awards. Or until the others pass (excuse the morbidly). I do believe if he was offered that price recently, that's what he should have taken if he wants to sell before the movie.

I dont think I know anyone who would be willing to pay 4K for that item, personally.

@innunedo do you think it would go for more if the movie gets nominated? Have you or the other collectors seen this item at 4K? Maybe I should invest in buying queen again

I'm only guessing about the nominations. I'd assume. No, we havent seen it at that high and it's been seen a few times...but its possible he got private offers, I suppose. I'm not sure why anyone would care to lie about that. Its still either going to sell at that price or not. Fibbing about offers at that high a price on an item this rushed isnt going to make people rush out and bid. It will sell at some point. I think it just comes down to how well the movie does and how much a buyer wants this specific item.

J, I've said it a million times by now and made a whole thread about it a few weeks back, but what it comes down to is people are buying Queen items right now bc they are at the lowest theyll ever be again, (assuming the remaining members dont pull a Roseanne Barr on Twitter) and it's easy to buy now and just save them to flip in some 6 months time when the movie is out and the new fans have a minute to get into the band.

Theyll hit a new height in value with the movie and the demand for all things Queen and Freddie go up. But imo, it's too early to be expecting those 'after movie' prices. Its investment time, if you ask me.

Yeah I'm familiar with the thread. I was after a few Queen items last month but missed out on them. Thinking about it now I probably should have gone a little higher and flipped them after the film. Did you see the works program for 2k? I didnt want to bite for that much and the signatures were cleaner than these. What do you reckon it would sell for after the price jump?
Btw I don't mean the works item on Ebay. The one from Dennis out of Canada if you're familiar with him? He usually sells on fb?

No, I dont think I know of anyone named Dennis. Not sure which works item you're referring to but but if it was fully signed, no name dedications or smears and easy to read- anything's possible. I'd only be guessing. We'll just have to wait for the movie and see.

Hi together, thats my offer on ebay. I know that it is authentic with exact date when it has been signed and its my holy grail of my collection. This one has been approved also by Roger Epperson but I dont include COA - do your homeworks on yr own please. As of the price. I have turned down offer for 3500€. Ive seen prices for posters up to 6000, so thus album should be worth 4000+

cheers, Marty
