I was the recent winner of an auction on their site. I paid for and received the item, no complaints there. However, their customer service is non existent. I had a question, so I replied to an email they sent me. They didn't respond. I emailed again. No response. Then I got an email about shipment from an actual person, so relied to them with my question  no response. I called them, the woman who answered the call said "I so rarely take phone calls, I don't even know how to transfer you" so she took a message assuring a call back. No call back. I emailed again, no response.

If they didn't charge the exorbitant buyers premium, I'd expect this kind of treatment, but I really feel like I deserve better and will never use them again.

Just a warning to the rest.

_______

UPDATE: Customer service reached out to me. There was a misunderstanding on my part and they had a change of personnel at the same time. They called me, we spoke, all resolved!! Thanks RR Auction.

Never experienced something like that, and I email them quite a bit.

They have always responded timely and were very polite and helpful.

Sorry to hear you are not happy with them

Same here. I was helped quickly and in a polite manner. Sorry to hear that, never an excuse for poor customer service.

They saw this post and called me. Just didn't have a chance to pick up. Will call them on Monday. Glad to hear it's not a common problem (something I assumed) and glad to see them reach out to me.

good to hear that its been sorted out Evan, but interesting that someone at r and r saw your post so quickkly especially as its saturday

hahahah

Evan. You need to deal with the right department! Rr auctions are one of the most professional co's I've dealt with. I had one item i purchased that i tried to import ,siezed by border force because it contained rosewood. Under the new cite laws as from feb 2017 you need a permit to import or export and rrauctions, were unaware and nor did i, about these new cite laws. All i can say is after 6 months of back and forth rr auctions did everything they could to help the situation and the item was eventually released to me. Also they have a great service if you want to consign your autographs, living outside the usa i dont need to shop around for a tpa on a autograph when i just can consign.

What was your question Evan? What was your item?
