Is Garry Shandling's Autograph Rare or is it Just that No One Cares?

I've been posting inventory from when I was a dealer way back when on eBay. I went to post this Garry Shandling caricature photo and I can't find anything to gauge its value from.

Is Shandling that rare...or is just that no one cares about him anymore?

One of the funniest comedians ever -- that recent documentary "The Zen Diaries of Gary Shandling" is perhaps the best documentary on an entertainer I've ever seen. Almost 4 hours and not a minute was boring. I'd imagine there would be plenty of signed items as he has a long career.

Gary is/was a favorite of mine, Steve. His GS Show was way ahead of its time, IMO.

The Larry Sanders Show has to be one of the funniest and most brilliant pieces of TV ever written.

Which reminds me...i must invest in the dvd boxset...and Gary Shandling's autograph...

I have the boxset with all the episodes -- but an essential buy is "Not only the Best of Larry Sanders" box set -- as it has the best episodes plus tons of bonus footage, interviews, outtakes, comedy bits, etc.

Thanks for the heads-up, Bruce.

Alas, i fear that the UK region 2 release wont contain all you mentioned above. I'll certainly have a look for it though. Cheers!

I dont think he was valuable autograph wise, he was not rare. He was a willing signer, I had a few graphs of him as well and when I tried to move them after his death the highest offer I received was $40 .

Strange how popular sentiment works, isn't it? I always gushed about the LS show and tried to turn friends and family on to it (even to this day), but very few seemed to take an interest in his neurotic style of comedy. What can we say - we GS fans have incredible taste :)

It was under the radar, here in the uk. And i think that's one of the reasons it's so cool. Whilst most of the western world were getting their funnies watching the mediocrity of Friends, there were others getting it from the quality Larry Sanders Show.

Rip Torn and Jeffery Tambor were also amazing in that show.
