Whose autographs do you think are nearly impossible to authenticate.

I have tried to study Clint Eastwood and find in near impossible to authenticate with  more than a 75% probability. Elvis takes it to another level and 60% would be my best guess. So, many secretaries etc. I couldn't collect an autograph with suspect authenticity.

Steve,

If it's possible, could you post a close-up of the signature?

Sure, when I get home this evening.

Thanks Steve

when you have doubts about some autographs you want in your collection than buy from in person autograph dealers such as ''toppix'' than you are sure about authenticity… yes' the price you pay is high but authenticity is everything and Always better than a fake autograph in your collection. on ebay there are sellers who collect in person and they sell for reasonable prices or you can bid on their items. also ''autograph world'' is a good site to look at...great service and great items.

Thanks Rob,

Had a look at their CE SPs. They appear legit. UACC dealers, so it will come with a decent COA. I would imagine Eastwood would be hard to sell without a PSA or UACC COA. Although for many a COAs appear to be a waste of time, for the average punter they are their only guide.

However, I seen this one in the UK from an UACC dealer. I could probably get it around £200 ($250) (14X11)

He says it is from the founder of the UACC. Any thoughts?

I can't speak for the graph, but UACC doesn't mean much. It's an organization that's certainly seen better days, and plenty of their registered dealers past and present have been crap. For modern autographs, they seem like even more of a dead end - their old school business models don't quite work as well as they did 20+ years ago.

"They appear legit. UACC dealers, so it will come with a decent COA."

But the UACC does not endorse the use of COA's.

No one mentioned on-the-street Al Pacinos?

gtv reality have a good name as in person autograph dealers with video proof which they provide with their adverts. also they have a site with you tube video's where you can see the in person signings. i like the ones with al pacino and robert de niro.bought some items from them but answering questions is not what they do best...

Hello Rob,

That"s great if the video shows the exact item, otherwise it's just a video of a celebrity signing autographs.

I see a lot of sites with 'proof photos' but it's never the item they are selling.

I could easily download a photo of Clint Eastwood signing photos.
