Hi

I've just joined so hello to all. I wonder if you could please give your opinion on the mag I've just purchased.

I had been told that the mag had been thrown onto the stage during one of the 1965 UK Christmas shows and was returned as can now be seen.

It has all four Beatles on the front and Ringo signed his photo to the rear, John made a remark and sketch plus signed over his photo, George also signed inside the mag and looked to have attempted sign (Harrison) after his name at the top of the front cover.

In your opinion is it for real or fake?

I understand your desire to "make" these real, but there is zero chance on these.

Real poor forgeries,sorry Ron.

Wow, you should respect these guys opinions. Maybe Tracks U.K. would even give you an opinion being that they are pretty bad. Either way get more opinions and consider trying to get your money back.

Not good!!!

That is one crazy arse story to go with these obvious 100% fake autographs (all of them)

I can just picture someone in the 1965 screaming audience throwing a rag onto the stage and The Beatles picking it up at some point and signing it. And then give it to whoever.

Ya that's believable hahaha

sorry, but everyone here is absolutely correct in saying they are NOT authentic Beatles signed

For me to comment on The Beatles is really saying something... trust me on this

It may not have been thrown onto the stage as you say.

Why would anyone writing a forged item add the words "Its me!!"

I believe ....so as someone rightly said ...that is all that matters.

Thanks for all your comments tho....respect to all.

Ron

Ron: thank you for posting. And asking for opinions. And understanding when an opinion is expressed, it's strictly about the signatures, not personal in any way.

You ask why anyone writing a forged item would add certain things? How about to convince others of the signatures authenticity with a feel-good story. How about to make money out of thin air?  Frankly, the head stretching required to believe that this magazine was thrown on a 1965 Beatles concert stage, then taken back and signed, then returned to the thrower requires a mental flexibility I believe is reserved for those with super powers like Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards).

Many folks in this forum have been chasing fakes for decades. We've seen and heard it all. And believe me, it's not fun to out the forgeries as we, too want to champion the genuine.

But I'm not a fan of "if you believe." I err on the side of truthfulness. As did The Beatles insistence in all things genuine.

With all due respect, those signatures are not borderline or even in the same continent or solar system as real - they are 100% forgeries.

+1

Well written Jim :)

OK thanks Jim...it seems that have a lot to learn.

regards

Ron

+1 Ron, many folks storm off, never to heard from again. You have endured the data, the truth, and are still here, now seeing perhaps with other vantages to assist your evaluation of what is going on. That is commendable. Many just bolt. You have not.

A child can "believe" in fairy tales

But the truth shall prevail

Why would every single person here have the same opinion?

And there will probably be a few more to come.

I am so confident these are Fake that if you can get a true Beatles expert TPA to authenticate these in writing.... I will give you $50K in cash and you can still keep the item.

How's that for "I believe"  :)

I’ll add another whopping $5 to goodcats offer... ;-)

Unfortunally these are all terrible fakes! Sorry!
