Hello everyone...just wanted and would highly value any opinions on the Edison signature that is in his usual pencil.

I recently purchased it on Invaluable.com and was told it was from a Miami Estate. There was no documentation with it of course. Everything is pretty much as you see in the lots when they're offered on that site.  They usually tend to be brief in their item descriptions. It is in his often used pencil format. Wondered if upon your inspection that the signature look ok? Thank uuuu in advance! Steven

Thanks. I was just reading the AS IS again under Kodner's terms.

It is worth an email. Looks like I'll be deleting my Invaluable app! I had only ever made one other purchase a couple years ago via Invaluable. This time the Edison Signature in pencil was authentic.  I got it for 285.00 which was amazing! That one was truly authentic. Too bad this one isn't or was at least maybe an original that was retraced for whatever reason??? People do odd things unless it's an outright forgery?

If Im unable to get a refund, should it be hung up as a reminder of an experience or does it go in the Fall back patio bonfire? That might be extreme. Unless somebody purchases items knowing they are altered etc and just want a display/conversation piece?????? Suggestions welcome of course.

If I am unable to get a refund

You are very welcome. Push for the refund. What leads you to conclude the other is genuine? It is very underpriced.

For reference, PSA's authentication fee is $150 vs your cost of $128.

Im starting to think as Ive been told over the years of collecting..unless you're truly standing next to the person while signing...nobody can really say claim 100% authenticity?? So many people say now a days.

Many would like you to believe that fully. I do not.

Return it and get your money back. Don't stop until you do!

To be honest. I would like to but I get the impression that what you see illustrated in the lot is at buyer's risk??? I'm just not sure?

Have you read the terms? Which seller did you buy it from and how long ago? How did you pay?

Did you pay by credit card or Paypal? There are ways to approach this if you want your money back. Even if it is authentic and "enhanced", which I doubt. The investment potential is destroyed.

Another thought, if you don't want it and University Archives thinks it's authentic. Consign it to them. Authentic Edison material is worth more than $200.

Why not name the gallery, date and method of payment? You may well have recourse!

Good point!

If i recall it was thru debit card. Not paypal

THINK THIS Thomas Edison in the above thread 20181001_155244.jpgwill Fly as AUTHENTIC? Looking for quick opinions:)
