Ebay Seller Jerseyray69 Lists Forged Signed Roger Maris Mickey Mantle Safe At Home COA GFA Rocchi

This is one I had to post.

If you haven't read some of my threads on Stephen Rocchi and Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA), immediately below are links to some of them.

I have written hundreds of times that I have yet to observe one authentic autograph with a COA from Stephen Rocchi and Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) since they started "operations" back in Sept. 2011.

As of today, October 13, 2018 (seven years later), I still have yet to see  one authentic autograph with a COA from Stephen Rocchi and Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA).

The below listing from Ebay seller Jerseyray69 of a forged Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle reproduction Safe At Home poster had to be posted.

They want $3,000.00 or Best Offer.

First, as you will observe, these are laughable forgeries....period.

As you can see, it isn't an original "Safe At Home" poster.  The forger, out of Florida, who has been penning these, isn't spending hundreds of dollars on original "Safe At Home" posters to forge Mantle and Maris.

The original "Safe At Home" poster is 28" X 22".

The seller's reproduction is 8X10.

An authentic set of Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle autographs on a original Safe At Home poster is extremely rare, but in the last few years we have observed dozens upon dozens of these "authenticated (cough, cough)" by Stephen Rocchi and Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA).

Of course, as you can see, these are clearly laughable forgeries.  These are forgeries I have already exposed dozens of times.

Let's read the item description from Ebay seller Jerseyray69.

You may have to click your mouse on the below image to get a closer view.

Part of the above description reads "Stephen Rocchi is the former Founder and President of both PSA and Spencer!  Always looking to improve the techniques of the industry, and be able to "Age Date" items for fabricated reproductions, he recently formed GFA, Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators, and took great pride in Authenticating this item, providing all of the forensic information....."

I don't what's more laughable; the forgeries or the item description.

And judging by the photos provided by the seller, it looks like he purchased them from Ebay seller Probstein123.

The "Age-Date" comment made me laugh as all of the GFA-certed photos that I have examined over the years were produced on ink-jet paper (see my link immediately below).

It's incredible that people (not true collectors) continue to buy this garbage.

Of course, Ebay seller Jerseyray69 will get nowhere near the $3,000.00 they are asking.

Funny how these "are" suppose to be "rare"according to Ebay seller Jerseyray69 and yet Ebay seller Baseballmemories9 sold a set of these "Florida-Penned" Mantle/Maris forgeries.for $177.50 and the COA sequence number is 62262.

Observe the sequence number on the COA from EBay seller Jerseyray69.

It is number 62261.

In other words, Rocchi and his forensic crew "certed" these back-to-back without a thought.

Chris, are you saying that he posted Probstein's rate card so make it look like that's where he got them?

That photo is posted on his listing.

It's very possible that Ebay seller Probstein123 listed it and sold it on consignment.

Here is a screenshot of the seller's listing.

Ebay seller Jerseyray69 initially had this crap listed with a Buy It Now of $3,000.00 or Best Offer.

They re-listed it Auction-Style and it sold for a whopping $152.50.

That says it all about this garbage!!!
