I know the guy and when I told them they were no good he took them down, he’s been duped by someone.

Good result. Even the paper had the old tea trick or similar to make it look old.

I would have thought that the seller who has sold a lot of autographs/memorabilia would have been more savvy than this to be honest. "Duped", I doubt that very much.

Paul, that’s a very unfair comment, the seller mainly deals in sporting autographs...almost anyone can be duped, I’ve seen a lot of respectable collectors/dealers selling crap,  I believe it was a genuine mistake. Everything seems simple when you know how.

I agree, Beatleworld. Honest people make honest mistakes. I salute the seller that removed this item voluntarily. Not everyone is a crook.

It’s pretty sad that we all have to be on the lookout for forgers and crooks duplicating signatures...but now we even have to be suspect of a forged LOA from Frank Caiazzo...??  When will the madness end...

I don’t think the madness will ever end, there’s too much greed out there !!!  I know It’s easier said than done, but try to buy from a reputable source and seek the advice of knowledgeable people !
