Hi everyone,

Took a quick glance in the upcoming RR Music auction, when a particular Floyd signed drum head caught my eye. I noticed very similar characteristics from a signed page that was listed for sale here, which I had removed for authenticity concerns. The drumhead seems to be another one of these styles.

Both the drum head and the page are not authentic imo.

Just for clarity - I was agreeing with not liking certain signatures and the size comment, nothing else.

Also: Comments like an item in auction called genuine was "probably" consigned by the person who authenticated it are completely out of line. If you know that for sure, then it's fine to say that. If you don't know for sure, don't: You're unfairly damaging their reputation.

We do a lot of good here by helping protect people against forgeries, and I appreciate how much our members do. Thousands of people appreciate what you do. I can't thank you enough.

Let's enjoy ourselves, learn, share knowledge and have great conversations. Just make sure you're conscious of what you say and do.

Thanks

Good point Steve -- there is ZERO proof that any of the third party authenticators are/were the consignors of the items.

Yes I agree. That was off topic

Solid move today by RR to take this one down to investigate further.

+1 I've seen this on the very rare occasion. I think it speaks loudly to their integrity.
