Marvel Avengers Cast Movie Poster with letter and holograms- Forgery?

I recently came across some discussion online about Marvel movie posters (and other movie posters) that come with Marvel holograms on them and a letter by a movie studio executive. I purchased one of these last year and now am truly disappointed to come to the realization that it may be a forgery.  Any opinions on this and can you please provide any evidence that this was an elaborate scam?

kevin is a real guy and head of marvel and on twitter why don't u ask him directly

I'm sure hes on facebook also

Yeah, I emailed him and also emailed his personal assistant last week, but no response yet.

Could do with a close up on some of the sigs but personally from what I can see I don't believe it looks at all good. If it was real can you imagine the effort it would take to obtain all of these autographs from A listers 100 times over? Then at the end of it they give the posters free of charge with a rather saccharine coa that doesn't even reference everyone that allegedly signed it. All very suspicious imo

I've seen these before and they are all fake! I would stay far away and run as far as you can!

I wish I could....I bought it last year though.  An expensive lesson.

There are many threads here about cast signed "movie premiere" posters with studio holograms.

To my recollection, they have been fakes 100% of the time.

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks.

This has been discussed before. The Stan Lee isn't only wrong, it's also wrong for the time frame.

Was this one you got from wayfair?

Jason, Jeremy asked a great question. Where did you buy it, and who invoiced it? If you bought it from a company like Wayfair, Touch of Modern and some others where you buy it from the "store" and not the vendor directly, they are generally the responsible party.

You may not be out of luck. Fill us in and we'll help you all we can.

Thanks, but I bought it from a seller on eBay. I went back and forth with the seller trying to convince him/her that all signs pointed to a scam but the seller didn't budge and remained firm that the "person who consigned it" was a legit person in the movie business.

Jason, if you spent serious coin for this, have PSA or JSA look at it. Once rejected, if that is the outcome, then let the seller know that since the results of your back and forth with him are that the seller is unmoved to remedy to your satisfaction, your next round of back and forth will be with your state attorney general's internet fraud/forgery division and/or with a civil attorney to sue for the price of the item + all costs including the attorney.
