Hi everyone! Next week I will be heading up to Green Bay to try and get McCartney's autograph. I have the hotel info figured out however, due to my high school graduation, the only opportunity I'll have to get him is after his concert. Does anyone have tips/tricks or if I should go to Lambeau Field or the hotel. Thank you so much guys any feedback helps!!!

I wish I could give you some advice.  I don’t know Paul McCartney’s in-person signing habits.  With you only being what 17 or 18, Paul should be thrilled that he has fans in the younger generation.  But great music is timeless, and you can’t find a bigger music icon than Sir Paul McCartney.  Some may be as big, like his fellow Beatle John Lennon or Michael Jackson or Elvis Presley, or Madonna perhaps, but no one bigger that’s for sure.

Some time ago, like 10 or 15 years ago when Paul McCartney came to Kansas City to perform, he stayed at a hotel where a friend of mine worked.  Some staffers were thinking, “Wow, maybe I’ll get to meet him or get his autograph!”  But no.  The manager told his staff that they were not to ask for PM’s autograph under any circumstances and not to go to his room unless they were delivering room service.  They were told that if they were caught asking Paul for his autograph, they would be fired!  Ouch.

Well, apparently some one didn’t care about their job because one employee went to his room and asked if Paul would sign a few things.  Well, Paul actually obliged and signed like 3 or 4 things.  The employee did get caught somehow, and yes he was fired, but he got Sir Paul’s autograph...more than once!  Was it worth it?!  Probably.  I mean how many times to you get the opportunity to meet a legend like that?!

As for my friend, he kept his job...sadly.

That might be the best advice since I think Paul is a hard one to get.  It’s possible the hotel employee got one autograph from Paul, but 3 or 4 I kind of doubt honestly, but that’s how the story was told to me...perhaps with a little embellishment.

very hard. Had backstage passes at Dodger stadium a few years ago and didn't catch a glimpse. He was then whisked away in his bus IMMEDIATELY and I mean Immediately after. Like the first one in the parking lot leaving. Really close to ZERO chance, IMHO.
