I have had this for at least 10-15 years now. It was a steal given the current prices for simple Jimi signatures. Just the signature, using a fountain ink pen, makes it pretty unique. I have only seen a few others, and this is just a beautiful example. But, given its historic importance and direct tie to Woodstock, on Jeffrey and Chandler stationary four days after the festival, and countersigned by Juma, I imagine that it will do very well if and when I ever decide to sell it. It is truly one of my pride and joys in the world of rock art and collectibles that I have been amassing for a number of decades now.

Nice piece these contracts all seem to have great signatures i have owned a couple myself and sold one that i regret selling when i was really hard up one time but none were signed with a fountain pen

That is a very interesting item Gratefulphish. Quite an unusual signature, especially with the "J" and "H" joined up. I think it is included in the contract examples in this Hendrix signature study:

As to values, I would think that the OP examples from the book went for an "about right" price when including premiums and fees. I put in a speculative bid of £3,200 but I knew full well that it would go higher.
The contract is difficult to predict. I did a quick Google search and the results were not conclusive but based on what I saw Paul's estimate of $100k seems far too high. A really important multi-signed contract went for over $60k but on the other hand there was a signed contract at Heritage that didn't make it's reserve of $5k. The latter was admittedly a pre-fame "Jimmy" example and obviously had no connection with the momentous Woodstock festival.
If I had Gratefulphish's example I certainly wouldn't sell it for less than $10k after seller's fees, which means a reserve of around $15k. Obviously I would hope it would "fly" but that would depend on the quality of marketing, who sees it and what spare cash they have at the time. If this was the contract Jimi signed concerning his own appearance at Woodstock or the fee he received I would certainly expect a whole lot more but ultimately it concerns Jimi's payment of a backing musician.
I'm showing my complete ignorance here but who is Juma? He didn't come up when I Googled him unless his stage name was Sultan or Santos.
