Can anyone offer opinions on this?  I saw it at a yard sale and thought it was pretty cool.  Figured it was worth the $20 risk?

I'll ask Steve Zarelli to take a look. He's the top space autograph expert. They look like stamped signatures to me, though.

Okay, thank you!

Assuming it is a not a copy, it is authentic in my opinion.

Here are some closer photos of the signatures.  What do you mean "copy"?  It doesn't look stamped, and the signatures are actual writing on the post card...

[edit:  When I upload the photos, it loses major image quality.]

I mean photocopy, laser copy or some sort of reproduction of an original. It can sometimes be difficult to discern when an item is under glass.

Gotcha.  Thank you for your help.  Assuming this is authentic, what sort of a value would you place on it?  (The signatures appear a little faded, as this was probably hanging up for some time)

Do you know anyone who might want to swap some baseball stuff for it?

My suggestion would be that you submit it to Steve Zarelli so he can examine it in person.

I didn’t even know that was an option!  Thanks

Great! I thought they looked like pretty faded felt tip sigs on "rough" paper and not stamps from looking at others online (I can just see crossover in the Buzz) but could not say for sure from the photograph. I could not find matching stamps or preprints but also could not authenticate these with any accuracy. If it passes full in hand exam by Steve as Christoper suggests this will be a wonderful score for $20!

I agree, Keith.

To the OP.

It would be well worth to submit it to Steve Zarelli Authentication.

They look genuine but the fading to that brown looks strange to me. I'm used to seeing them in blue or black and the color combined with the thickness made me think it could be stamped.

The whole thing appears quite toned from age and those apparently acidic mats. Perhaps to a degree that the ink color (itself faded) appears different on this texture with felt tip. I have seen this "brown" ink color on sigs once black from the early 70's exposed to the sun (I believe).
