Don't take discussing and showing authenticity concerns as saying anything bad about Frank or Perry. Authentication constantly builds on new knowledge.
It looks like the ones of this style are fairly new, from the last year or less. The same with the McCartneys that were originally being offered by the same sellers.
As Perry said in his blog, by working together we can improve authentication. Both in detecting likely forgeries and in helping prevent odd genuine autographs from being called forgeries.

All I'm trying to say is: if and when Perry tells me to send the autograph back to him because he discovered something new about all this issue, only then I will return the autograph. As I said earlier, I will do whatever Perry tells me. I trust Perry and Frank to come to the truth study, even if it takes a few more years. Till then, it's an authentic autograph as far as I'm concerned.

I’m sure Daniel has an opinion but what’s wrong with getting an experts opinion? Not all of us are as talented and knowledgeable as some of them members on here so I don’t see anything wrong with asking a professional authenticator for his or her assistance

Nothing with that is wrong. He did just that, and then it was for sale on eBay a few days ago, now its not for sale...confusing.

Having faith in Frank and Perry is having faith in people who really know the Beatles. I respect that.
But you said, "So yes, ordinary people who have a signatures hobby can't wake up one morning and challenge them."
While what we're doing isn't challenging them, what you said made me realize that you may not know the history of this site.
Autograph Live opened in August 2009. Members have been examining, discussing, and researching Beatles autographs for the 10 years since.
This discussion is in our Beatles Forum, which contains 2,567 discussions about Beatles autographs dating back to when we opened.
That's beside our blog posts, including this one from 2010 talking about Beatles forgeries and likely the largest seller of truly deceptive Beatles forgeries ever, before or since, American Royal Arts:

American Royal Arts sold much more than the Beatles. They sold forgeries of virtually all valuable and popular music autographs. Frank Caiazzo, Roger Epperson and I were deeply involved in exposing forgeries they sold, which eventually led to them going out of business. American Royal Arts had something like 9 galleries in Florida, plus ran ads in Money, Fortune, Forbes and airline magazines. They sold millions upon millions of dollars in forgeries every year.
BallroomDays67 joined Autograph Live more than 9 years ago, in July 2010, and has been posting, writing about, analyzing, and discussing Beatles autographs from the start.
And this doesn't include the many other members who seriously study Beatles autographs.
There's a lot of experience, expertise and passion about Beatles autographs here. And a lot of respect for experts like Frank and Perry who specialize in Beatles autographs.
We're not challenging them. We just want to help protect collectors from buying forgeries, just like Frank and Perry do.

I do not see this as a discussion about Perry, Frank, Roger or any TPA. This is an authenticity discussion. The fact that these highly regarded gentlemen have differing opinions does not mean that we are disrespecting their qualifications and obvious experience with Beatles autographs. They are still the best in the business and any knowledgable person that is searching for the truth, would not let a "questionable" opinion change their opinion of any of these gentlemen.
Focusing on their opinions only, is missing the point of this discussion. It started with a simple question: "any thoughts on these signed CD's off eBay". So it started with a discussion about authenticity and turned into what some are looking at it as a personal attack on Perry and Frank. While I disagree with their opinion in this case, based on the facts laid forth by Ballroom and Steve, my opinions of their talent and value to the autograph industry is not diminished, in fact, it is stronger now that Perry took the time to post and give us a better understanding of the TPA side of things.
When all things are considered, it comes down to a personal decision. Many times I have seen autographs that I believe to be authentic, but would not want in my collection, regardless of who authenticated them. That is a personal decision on my part. If some folks here are totally comfortable with authenticity based on Perry or Frank's opinion, that is fine. I am not trying to persuade anyone's opinion. Just offering things to consider.
