No I didn’t , can you tell me why it so bad maybe a bit mor info, as I’m trying to get the seller to give me my money back , the seller was my vinyl sales and his name is les evens , I contact him last night about his item might be fakes and he went of it b one about they are not , so I’m trying the find out as much as I can about him and his fakes , coz he sell a lot and there must be away to report him for this

If you bought it off ebay, then just file a refund request, or same thing if you paid via regular paypal (i.e. not as friends and family). Either way you should get your money back. If it was a private sale, it could be another matter.

No I got as it was , with a letter saying it was giving to the sex pistols by virgin and signed between 77-79 the guy said he work at virgin les evens

Its definitely not genuine - not even close. As for "Les Evans" - ask him which building he was based in (there was only one office in West London). There was only one Les that worked there in the late 70's and 80's but his surname was Molloy.

Something REALLY smells (as much as his fake signed record) about that biog above apart from the spelling errors. In the 1970's Virgin Records Retail consisted of 2 stores - one in Notting Hill and the other in Oxford St. In other words, there was never a "number of record stores" until after 1983 when the Megastores grew in prominence. Certainly the era his "biog" refers to above there were only 2 Virgin record shops.
Secondly, George Martin was a perfectionist who employed musically trained and qualified engineers - not record pluggers at Abbey Road.
I could go on but as I say - this man is a conman! End of story. Demand your money back...

Anyone who makes this claim is either a liar or a fool and to be honest in my experience they are usually both, the only way to know if an autograph is genuine is to have been there and seen it signed which is the case for me and all of my itemsSincerelyLes Evens
