Are top loaders safe for autographs? I have a auto I want to display in some sort of holder but not sure what's safe and what's not

I usually use bcw letter-size toploaders for autographs, and I haven’t had any problems.  I’ve had a JFK autograph in a bcw tooloader for four years without any damage to the autograph at all.  So I guess my answer would be...yes, they are safe...bcw anyway.

I use them all the time although I'm still careful where I store them. Humidity can cause much damage.

put them in a soft sleeve first, then they'll be fine
