he usualy lowballs the prices and quotes auction value of what there selling for not this time

he said a said nevermind album was worth 25k and an in utero 15k .

just a little high estimates

and the fact that he usualy wont certify them he did these in 2 seconds with no problem.

I know excatly how the show is done. Once again over paid and over estimates.

I saw that last night too.prices were definitely to high.

Certainly Steve has the opportunity to review an item in advance. I do not know if these sales actually occur or it is 100% staged for the show, but I suspect the latter is a strong possibility. So, "how much they pay for it" may be a moot point.

they get a picture  of the itiem and then right before they shoot they get about 10 to 20 minutes to review it privatly

Several years ago I was asked to provide clear photos several months in advance of shooting.  They also wanted to know what I wanted for the piece.  They were also very specific about when they needed you to be available for the filming.  Plenty of time for research but probably less so for the negotiations.  Just my experience, Steve.

my guess it was a fake sale for publicity.

same as johns 100k paul goerge and ringo guitar that has ever got any higher than 20k in auctions

ive done the show a few times

Can't believe that show is still running and John Brennan again please!
