Dylan Signatures - opinions on collectability / value welcome

Hi to all.

Im interested to get any comments or opinions on the collectability of a couple of Bob Dylan signed albums currently up for sale.

One is available on liveauctions.com

https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/85889808_bob-dylan-signed-doub...

This is a signed Blonde on Blonde.

Album is from the stock of Bob Dylan's manager Jeff Rosen and Bob Dylan. With Jeff COA. Near fine condition.

The other is a signed Blood on the Tracks on RR Auctions.

https://www.rrauction.com/bidtracker_detail.cfm?IN=487

My question relates to collectability and value considering one on the signatures was in all likelihood created for sale and the other signature was in all likelihood the result of a fan asking for Bob Dylan to sign.

Is there any differences or considerations here between these Dylan signatures to a serious collector?

I may be bidding so I look forward to your comments.

Cheers.

The ones from Dylan's manager tend to sell for at around $6000 grand and up at auctions.  Other ones are all over the place but not cheap.  In my opinion value depends what album was signed, clarity and contrast of signature, etc. The ones from his manager are usually neater and have perfect contrast if that's what you are looking for.  No one knows how many he signed or will sign in the future so it's a little risky buying these at high prices for a future investment.  Whereas a Beatles signed piece -- you know there are not going to be anymore produced in the future.

Thanks Bruce - good points, appreciated.
