Has to be a record for a signed Nirvana piece.  And I wonder who bought Kurt's Unplugged Guitar?

Did he buy the poster too?

Rode Microphones must be selling quite well!

The poster was sold to a different buyer. It is a large 1st promo poster from DGC that was released around Sept 1991. It was signed at the club Tree In Dallas, TX on October 19, 1991.

I wonder what he will do with the guitar.

Smash it to pieces like Kurt would have.  I went to one of the last Nirvana concerts in the U.S., in November 1994, before they left for Europe, and Kurt never came back.  At the end of the show, he basically destroyed everything on stage single-handedly.  Guitar, amps, drums, etc.  I actually won the tickets on a radio call-in, the only time in my life that happened.  I took my brother-in-law.  It was an amazing show.

I read that he was going to exhibit the guitar round the world and all the money raised from it will all go directly to help The welfare of musicians and artists.

if i rember correctly that poster and flats only went up in store on release date as the band was unknow , we did release a digipak of the cd single teen spirit first prior to the album release but they were an unknow band so knowbdy caried.

also geffen released the week before guns and roses ur your illsion 1 and 2 and did midnight sales and contests for that album and it was the biggest priorty at the time.

i belive in july/ august i had an advance cassette no artwork of the full nevermind album  that was the first thing the lable did.

theres a flyer small poster for nervana appering on snl the first time .they were mailed to select industry people.

but the first offical things that were release that u could get signed is the cd signle the whole cd the large poster naked babby and a flat 12 x 12.

i have 2 of the poster signed differntly that were signed in nyc just as the album came out also from work

theres more to the story abot the gold signed ones from dgc but there real .i belive there will be some more that might pop up now.

that poster was only used for a short period then replace by the one with pictures of the guys in the band in the water about the same size of this one.i havent seen a real one of them pop up yet signed.
